Eşimle birlikte Midyat'ta çok güzel bir konumda olan, Şahmeran Otel'de konakladık ve her şeyden fazlasıyla memnun kaldık. Temizlik, konfor, ilgi ve güler yüz konusunda gerçekten harikaydı. Özellikle otelin sahibi son derece iyi niyetli ve misafirperver birisi; bizzat kendisi ilgileniyor, her detayla yakından alakadar oluyor. Bu da insana kendini çok özel hissettiriyor. Midyat tarihi yerler 2-3 dk yürüme mesafesinde. Otele gelecek olursak. Odalar çok güzel dizayn edilmiş. Yatak ve yastıklar mükemmel derecede rahat. Odalarda daikin klima mevcut. Sadece banyo biraz küçük ancak rahatsız edici değil. Mutlaka otelin altındaki mağaraya inin min 10 derece sıcaklık farkı var. Sürekli müzik çalıyor ancak rahatsız edici değil. Girişte 3 araçlık otopark yeri var. Park konusunda sorun yaşayabilirsiniz. Başta Musa kardeşimiz ve diğer çalışanlar çok ilgili, yardım sever ve güzler yüzlü. Kahvaltısı serpme kahvaltı. Gayet yeterli ve doyurucu. Tekrar gelirsem bu otelde kesinlikle kalacağım. Tekrar görüşmek üzere :)

12-16 Şubat tarihleri arasında konakladığımız bu otel, aslında sahiplerinin eski evi. Bu sayede Midyat’ın o otantik atmosferini birebir hissediyorsunuz. Abartıdan uzak, sıcak ve samimi bir ortam var; adeta kendi evinizde gibi hissediyorsunuz. Hatta bir gece kaybolup stres içinde konağa döndüğümüzde, kapıdan girer girmez nişanlımla birlikte ‘Çok şükür, evdeyiz!’ dedik. İşletmecileri Musa, Murat ve abileri son derece cana yakın, yardımsever ve hoş sohbet insanlar. Her sabah kahvaltı masamızı özenle hazırlayan Salih’e de selam olsun! Midyat’a tekrar yolumuz düşerse kesinlikle yeniden burada konaklayacağız.

Gittim gördüm...

Harika 3 gün geçirdik 2 yetişkin 2 çocuk konakladık. Otel midyatın tarihi dukusu ile aynı. Merkezde ve çoğu bölgeye yürüme mesafesindeydi. Tatilimizden aldığımız keyiften ziyade, otel sahiplerinin ve çalışanların bizlere yaklaşımı doğu kültüründeki misafirperverlikle aynıydı. Kendimizi evimizde gibi hissettik. Sabah bol çeşitli serpme kahvaltısı harikaydı. Hiç duymadığım çeşitli kültürlerin kahve çeşitleri ikramları vardı. tüm ilgili personel ve işletme sahiplerine bizleri evimizde gibi rahat hissettirmek için ellerinden geleni yaptılları için çok teşekkür ederim.
