The Zermatt Resort Hotel is a luxurious retreat nestled amidst the beauty of the Wasatch Mountains near Park City, Deer Valley, and Sundance. Located in the idyllic town of Midway, Utah, this Swiss-themed Resort offers amazing accommodations and amenities including all-season indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs, and the area features some of the best hiking, mountain biking, golfing, and skiing in the country, not to mention summer water sports, or winter ice fishing at the Deer Creek Reservoir!

This Double Queen Suite includes two queen beds and a private attached bathroom with a tub/shower, as well as blackout curtains, a working space with a desk/chair, and a flat screen TV. There is also a cooking area with a small kitchenette, microwave and mini fridge/freezer (cooking supplies are not included). As a guest at the Zermatt Resort, you have access to all the resort amenities including the indoor/outdoor pool, hot tubs, sauna and gym.

Upon arrival, easily access your vacation rental unit with a key-less secure door code; no need to stop and pick up keys.

Peaceful fun

We loved our time here in the mountains near salt lake city. The pool was fun, mini golf, the homestead crater would be amazing if we planned ahead. The bakery bakes really great bread and the restaurant had great pancakes!

We ended up having to leave before we could even sleep there because the communication with the host was NONEXISTENT. I am so upset with our experience here I cannot believe I wasted our money on it.

The VRBO host never sent us our check in information and ghosted us, so our reservation was cancelled. There was a big event in the town we were staying in so nothing was available. We had to stay further than where we intended which wasn’t ideal, since we chose our place due to the close proximity of the wedding be venue we were going to.

Great location, in need of updates

Midway and the Zermatt in general are gorgeous places!The location of the room is great and my daughter loved being so close to the pool. This section of the hotel could use some updating and TLC. The major downside was the lingering smell of cigarette smoke. Having lived in a previous smokers house, I know the smell well and also know how difficult it could be to get out. We tried to air out the room the best we could, but with no screen in the window I was hesitant to leave it open while we were out. I did relay this to the owners before posting this and they said no one had ever smoked in the room. I would disagree. One more bit of information: the mini golf and carousel will cost extra. We lucked out one night and the front desk allowed us to play, but the second day we were told that was not included- only use of the pool and wellness center- and would cost 8 per person.
