"It is a lovely hotel with all its spa facilities. Room was very comfortable. Staff very helpful. However, it does not have a central bar area where you can just relax with a drink. I will stay there again next week but I will be looking for another option in the Friesland area."

"It's a nice hotel with a good breakfast, some rooms are outside of the hotel and for the breakfast you have to go in the main structure. The good thing is that those rooms are bigger so you have more space and more privacy. The room was clean and with everything that is necessary. The staff is very nice and friendly"

"At first glance a very strange experience at what seemed an abandoned roadside hotel. After a couple of minutes we were greeted by the host though, and from here everything was smooth. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and freshly cooked meals. The facilities, facades and ‘restaurant’ for sure needs a good hand to be somewhat more presentable and inviting, as it gives you a feeling that the place has had its time of glory in the past. "I stayed 2 nights at this hotel while my husband and I visited Papenburg. The staff were professional and helpful. The hotel itself is austere but clean and bright. When I was there, the hotel's clientele were mostly older customers and their adult children.The hotel had a calm atmosphere and there was little to no noise on my floor. The rooms were a good size and had a ton of outlets and USB ports to charge your phone. The only thing that I didn't like about my room was the mattress. I found it to be very hard. The best aspect of my stay was the breakfast. So much food and non-dairy milk for the ceral. I just loved it! "
