Come experience all that Northern Indiana has to offer - beaches, shopping, wine and beer tasting. Our beautiful modern home (built in last 5 years) has everything you need and is close to it all. Perfect for a girls weekend, family retreat, or multi family vacation. We still have dates for this spring and early fall available.

This beautiful retreat is a relaxing option - away from the noise and commotion of other beach properties. Located an easy (flat!) 10 minute walk from Lake Michigan, this home offers 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths and sleeps 10 in beds (1 King, 2 Queen, and 4 Twins), easily accommodating two+ families. There's a ton of space to be together or spread out and recharge.

The home is newly constructed in 2019 and loaded with modern amenities, including:
- Fully equipped modern kitchen, with new appliances
- Backyard with large patio, fire pit, and lots of seating.
- Living room, dining area with large table, and game room gives lots of space to
relax together
- All- season room off the back patio to avoid the bugs or bad weather
- Kid friendly!
- Foosball Table in the game room
- Parking (3 cars and more upon request)

Combine all this with a serene, modern beach decor, and you have an ideal vacation spot to spend time with friends and family.

Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, including the master, are on the main floor making it ideal for those that want to avoid stairs.

Property is locally managed, so we are there if you run into any issues (and will give you lots of local recommendations).

Principal renter must be over 25 years old. No pets or smoking allowed.

Property was wonderful and an easy walk to the beach. Check in was very easy and had everything needed for our stay. Traveled with family and they had a Pack and Play and high chair available if needed. Beach chairs were also great to have. Would stay again in the future.

Large house great for 5 adults and 2 kids. We go to the beach on hot days and 1 day to pick blueberry at state line blueberry. Back room great to store all our beach stuff.

The perfect Michigan City Getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home! Mandy was very easy to work with, and accessible. This home was immaculately clean, and very tastefully decorated. The towels were fluffy, and the beds were very comfy! There was plenty of room in the home for everyone in our group. We hope to stay here again!

Family/Friend Vacation

The house was very clean and comfortable. The decor and vibe were much better than most house rentals we have been in. There were many extra little thoughtful touches that made it more welcoming. It had everything we needed and more. The children loved the upstairs space. The walk to the beach was very doable with young children and the wagon they provided made it even easier. We would stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Wonderful beach house for a group of family or friends

We stayed at Mandy's beach house in Sheridan Beach for a family wedding. We all grew up in the area but now live in California. Modern, clean, well organized house with plenty of space and amenities. We had a hiccough and Mandy and her mom Sue got it taken care of right away. We all decided we would stay here for the next visit home.

The property was so nice. Very clean. Rented for a girls weekend and it was perfect. We all had our own bed. 3 bathrooms was great for 6 girls. Walked to the beach. Shopped at the outlet mall. Many restaurant choices. The owner was so great. Highly recommend!

Perfect place to stay

Second stay in this lovely home. Entire home was clean & the decor is adorable throughout. Pictures are exact representation of home. We stayed during winter so we didn't use the backyard with grill & firepit but those accommodation would be great in other seasons. Mandy was prompt with responses to my questions via the app. Check process in was a breeze. Highly recommend renting this home.

Perfectly Perfect!

We had the most delightful stay for our son’s wedding weekend! It’s not often that a rental exceeds your expectations but this one did! It was clean and roomy with lots of options for places to hangout whether we wanted to be all together or to tuck away for a little quiet time. The home was very well stocked with dishes, cookware, beach supplies, etc. The homeowner was very quick to respond whenever I had a question. I highly recommend this property!

Great Visit to Lake Michigan

We had a great stay at the house! It was very clean, spacious and cute decor. It is walkable to the beach, which was very enjoyable. We also used this location as a place to spend some time in Chicago as well (about an hour drive). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and the grill outside was handy. We even spotted some deer while out back. The host is very responsive - the air was not working very well and the upstairs room was quite warm. I let her know and she sent fans via Instacart that night. My kids greatly appreciated those! We had a great visit. Thank you.

Cute Property

Loved this place except for the mattresses - most of which were in dire need of replacement. Most everything looked clean but floors were dirty when we wiped a spot up which a rag so could tell they hadn't been really cleaned well in a while. Cleaning service should be monitored. Host had toys, beach bags in each room to use, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and some basic kitchen items. Bring your own shampoo and body wash or bars of soap.

Fun times at Washington Park Beach on Lake MI

Overall a great week. The walk to the beach is about a quarter mile and fairly flat. If you have a wagon, walk out via Louisiana Street, there is a better path over the sand. The beach was pleasantly nice and clean. Beautiful areas around to walk/hike. Lots of restaurants in Mich City or New Buffalo (10 min away). The house is new, clean and comfy. A/C works well. The grill was out of propane but Amanda took care of it quickly before dinner that night. We had a fire out back every night. Kids ranging from toddlers to 8yo had a blast at the beach and hiking the dunes.

A great week

This place is way more than a 4 but maybe not quite a 5 (4.8?). We had a couple small issues but very happy with the home. The best part is the layout. Easy for many adults to be cooking, eating, talking at the same time. Second best thing is the upstairs. Perfect for teens and tweens. I know they stayed up a lot later than us but we never heard them. Nice outdoor table and firepit. Comfy quiet beds. I'd say the walk to the beach would be easy for anyone 8 and up. The provided beach wagon was super useful and the beach is lovely and never very crowded.

Family vacation Michigan City

Everyone loved this home. The layout was perfect for our needs with spacious open floor plan to enjoy meals and free time together. Master bedroom and bath are very nice. Other 2 bedrooms smaller but were fine for us although another room with king size bed would have been nice. A nice outdoor space which we enjoyed in the evenings with a fire in the fire-pit, making smores, chasing lightning bugs and watching the deer. The upstairs space was just what the 5 grandchildren needed with a spacious room to have their sleepover. It had a large rec room with foosball table and TV for those before bedtime movies. Plenty of room to store and play with toys they brought from home. Not to mention their own bathroom. The location to the lake was great. The home provided a wagon, umbrella, and beach chairs which we greatly appreciated. It was a nice walk to the beach but also easy to do a drop off and pickup. The neighborhood is beautiful and was peaceful during our stay. Our VRBO hostess was very accessible and helpful before & during our trip. The weather was unusually hot for couple days and nights. We had concern about upstairs air conditioning - I reached out to her and heard back quickly. She followed up by having someone out there to check the unit. Due to our home situation during our stay in Michigan City we were able to relax, enjoy exploring, playing at the Lake and making lots of memories.
