Located just a 6-min walk to beach and a 2 min walk to 2 local gems: Dune Billies Café (breakfast & coffee joint) and Cool Running (Jamaican beer, rum, jerk chicken & seafood) and about a mile from many other amazing restaurants!

    This beautifully designed, spacious townhome is the perfect spot for those who want a true getaway. Located in the Sheridan Beach neighborhood, there’s tons to do for guests of all ages: soaking up the sun & sand all day on the beach; hiking the dunes in the nation’s newest national park; enjoying a tasting at one of the many local wineries or breweries; renting a boat for a day on Lake Michigan; testing your luck at the Blue Chip Casino; playing with your kids at the Michigan City Zoo, park, or splash pad; going for a swim at the local community pool (6 min drive away); or enjoying one of the many cafes, restaurants, outlet shops, or antique stores located just a few minutes from this beautiful hideaway. Our host was amazing. The house was very well stocked for everything you might need to host a family meal. We only brought a turkey roasting pan to cook our thanksgiving dinner for 9 people but they had everything else we could have needed. The only thing that would have made our stay easier would have been to bring a baby gate but they even had a pack and play available for us. 10/10 would recommend for families!

Very well cleaned and fully stocked rental. Everything needed for beach day was provided which was great. If I had to provide criticism, it could use more comfortable seating for relaxing times and a better shower head for the main floor shower. Otherwise, our family had no complaints about this place.

We stayed here for a quick trip with two toddlers. Everything we needed was included! The location was great, just a quick walk to the beach. The parking pass was so helpful for an easy 1 minute drive to the beach when we didn't feel like carrying the kids! The house was newly constructed and very nice, lots of space for us to spread out and enjoy! If we come back to Michigan City, we will definitely stay here again!

This house was wonderful. We are already planning our return visit for next year. It was clean and welcoming from the minute we walked through the door. It has a great open space living area that is fantastic for spending time with family. We loved the beautiful beach which was just a short easy walk from the house which we walked multiple times a day. We loved the cute little breakfast restaurant just down the block (a suggestion from the hosts). We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Spot!

We had a group of seven women who wanted a weekend away from our families to recharge. This house was the perfect spot. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need. The beds are super comfortable. The hot tub is lovely. It’s a very close walk to the beach. And it’s close to so many wineries, breweries and great restaurants. 7 of us stayed at this home for a girls weekend and the home was clean, beautiful and spacious! We enjoyed the sprawling kitchen and hot tub. Just a short walk to the beach or local brunch spot. The location does require a drive to most places nearby for dinner, nightlife (which is overall limited in this area), etc. The main family room’s 2 chairs and couch are a bit uncomfortable and not the best layout for a larger group to spread out and all relax together, but we didn’t find it terribly inconvenient since we were mostly on the go. Overall we enjoyed our time here!

Perfect Home for family!

We are a large group of 8. The home is so charming and the location is fantastic! We walked to the beach several times. The main level bedroom w/ attached bath was PERFECT for our 77 yr old mother. The three bedrooms upstairs for the rest of the fam were great. The owner responded to a couple of my questions very quickly and during a holiday weekend. Great service. The home is beautiful. The beach accessories were much better than other rental we have stayed at. The home was so clean. I would book this home again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house . The property was very well kept and the owners have taken care on every little detail . The kitchen was well stocked and there was enough bath and beach towels . The only down side was the instructions for checkout . They wanted all sheets and pillow cover removed and start the laundry load . We already pay cleaning charges then I don’t see the reason to finish these chores when we are on vacation. It is not just with this property but many in VRBO asking us to clean the home and do laundry before checkout . Other than this no complaints. Had a good weekend. The property owner was very kind and let us do a late checkout too .

Fourth of July Happy Place

This home was the perfect location for the 11 of us. Seven adults and four children 8 and under. The house is new and well cared for and the owners have considered all the needs for traveling families. There were numerous beach chairs and towels to carry on the 5 minute walk to the water. They provide a parking pass for the dashboard when you need to bring a car. They even have a wagon and a lovely portable cabana for the shade you’ll want during the day. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking needs as well as dishes for serving. There’s a hot tub, fire pit and comfortable seating right outside the back door. Communicating with the owners was easy and prompt. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with anything. The beach crowd during the 4th is a little rowdy, but that is to be expected. There is a handbook at the home, to answer any questions about it and the surrounding area.
