We stayed for four nights, 23–27 September. The location was convenient and the staff were friendly during most of our stay. Unfortunately, on the morning of 26 September, the toilet in Room 16 became blocked and dirty water leaked onto the bathroom floor, soiling my trousers and socks. We were moved to Room 13, which was noticeably smaller and had poorer facilities. There was only one toothbrush tumbler, so the room appeared to be set up for single occupancy, and the toilet flush control was damaged. Initially, there was no apology or compensation. After I complained by email, the hotel apologised and offered another room and free breakfast, but we had already moved once and were checking out the next morning. I requested a partial refund because of the hygiene issue and disruption. It was disappointing as we had otherwise enjoyed our stay. I followed up requesting a partial refund, but had not received a response by the time of writing this review.

Great place in the perfect location. Stayed in double room with private bathroom and it was a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was basic and a bit limited but clean and good quality. High Recommended!
