We had a great family vacation at Tulum House! The home has been renovated and is very modern but also very comfortable. There’s plenty of room and the backyard and pool are a great! The host was very responsive as well.

This home is GREAT! My family (which includes 4 judgy teenage girls) absolutely loved this place. It’s great for families OR it would be great for a girls/guys weekend. We came during mango season and got to take home a few fresh mangos from the tree. It’s not far from the beaches. It’s plenty spacious across the property for anyone wanting to hang out or spend some time by their self. The lights outside make it easy to stay up until 4 am in the pool and just hanging out. The property owner was patient and answered everything quickly. I will say, bring extra towels and the kitchen is stocked for cooking small meals, but other than that, everything was perfect. Will probably rebook next time we’re here.

So on the surface beautiful property but our trip was ruined because there was no hot water. This was a known issue and nothing was mentioned until I made a complaint and the “resolution” was to flip the breaker switch which had to keep being done and we still couldn’t take decent showers. Pool was also cold I didn’t want to bother asking how to turn on the heater out of fear of up-charge when that’s something advertised in the listing title. Random people showed up to “clean” the pool I guess I don’t know it was very sketchy. I would not stay here again nor recommend. Many activities were cut completely out of fear of having to take a cold shower!!!
