We were attending a University of Miami induction day for our son. This hotel is 10 minute drive from UM in the heart of coral gables so at walking distance you have a lot of dinning options.

The junior suite was spacious and reasonably well decorated. The front desk lady at the time of check-in was matter of fact and not very welcoming. The bartender in the lobby bar was very friendly and polite. The housekeeping staff was very noisy when working the corridor outside our room. The location was great!

Some of the staff were very lackadaisacal.Asked why they charged me an additional $50 on.my credit card after the initial check in charge of $250 ,was fobbed off.The maids showed up at 4pm and I told them.not needed. Signage poor and easy to get confused in the labyrynth of rooms and floors.Zero concierge service.They assume you know all about Coral Gables and its offerings.Need a local map and also an internal map of the hotel.

Great hotel away from the crowds of south beach. Quiet area and hotel. Nice pool and seating outside to relax. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. I would stay again.

I was placed in the room about a mile from the elevator. It was interesting the first time, but the second and a third time it was not. The hotel is really big, they put me in the room at the very end of the hallway. Frankly everything else was very nice.

Humberto went out of his way as a concierge to arrange a car for us! He handled our check in and made life easy. The reception and check in people are so valuable! They are great to work with! Excellent hotel value, convenience, and staff made this a great stop, we will try to do this again.

Hotel Colonnade is a lovely hotel, based a street away from the main drag of Coral Gables. It makes for a very walkable time in Miami (which I think is pretty rare) with great shops and restaurants nearby. It's about 2 minutes walk from my favourite bookshop, Books & Books in Miami, which also has a fantastic cafe and evening events. It's also across the street from Izakaya, a great little Japanese place. The hotel itself is well-designed with large rooms and very comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast in-house was fantastic. I'm not a fan of resort charges but it looks like every US hotel has brought them in post-covid so I don't specifically take issue with this hotel for adding this charge. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel is great and the location is unbeatable.

Will stay again!
The hotel is in a great location just steps from the miracle mile. It has a great heated pool and hot hot hot tub!! We stayed in an oasis suite and it was the perfect size.
