Great Location/Great Outdoor Space

Unit is very well located- short walk to the beach, the Art Deco district on Ocean Drive and the Lincoln Mall. Outdoor space was great- balcony off the living space and large outdoor terrace upstairs. Property is showing it’s age and could use some TLC, but location and outdoor spaces, and reasonable price, make it a good deal.

Wouldn't Stay Again

The place was ran down. There was a door in our batheoom that was broken. Our hot tub didn't work and was dirty. There was lots of things that were run down there. Staff was the best thing.

South Beach

We did enjoy our stay. Rooftop and balconies are not totally private, that part was a bit disappointing. You look out to another condo/hotel, barely see the ocean (it does say partial view) The other guests and housekeeping are extremely loud at all hours of the day and night, slamming doors, dogs barking, no fault of condo owner, the property itself needs rules and expectations of guest behaviors. It is a great location, easy to walk to beach, restaurants, and shopping. We would stay here again.

First the best thing about the room is the shower. Its an amazing shower! The balcony was great and i loved the private rooftop patio. The room itself was clean but tiles in some areas were missing. One of the panels to enclose the toilet from either side for privacy was missing. On the rooftop patio which is private theres a hot tub but the jets werent working so it was more of a roman tub but we didnt use it cuz it just wasn't appealing at all. It was definitely weathered and needed some real tlc and detailing. The views were good at night with the city lights very pretty. The ice machine in the hallway didnt work which sucked. But a minor invonvenience nothin huge. Easy, timely, and good communication with the host. I would stay here again but hopefully when the jacuzzi is fully operational! over all a good experience and stay!

Long weekend

Check in process took too long. Maybe it was just the security guard who checked us in, but she gave us a small tour and asked for a tip. Me and my husband and another group just wanted to get to our rooms so we could change out of our rain soaked clothing. I loved the room, comfortable bed, the decks were nice to be able to be outside with your coffee and people watch. Hot tub jets didn’t work but my husband still soaked in hot water. Definitely would stay here again

Steve was pretty awesome. The only thing that would've been better is if the hot tub jets worked. Also, probably my fault that I did not reach out to the host because the host was very responsive when we asked for towels she told us to get more they were under the bed.

Our Miami Stay

The location is great for food and entertainment. It is located close to the beach, less than a block. The hot tub was missing some jets but we still enjoyed sitting outside in the evening. We had an overall good experience.

Beautiful, quiet, & luxurious

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The room was clean and decorated as pictured, and the bed itself was like sleeping on a cloud. The location is conveniently situated near the beach, food, and nightlife offerings, and the privacy of the upstairs penthouse roof made this a much better value than some of the 4/5 star hotels in the area. My only complaint is that the hot tub jets didn’t work and we had to fill it up ourselves. Still give it 5 stars for the luxury experience overall- we would definitely stay here again!

Just as advertised!

This property is exactly what you see in the pictures. Everything you need is provided for you (including floats, boogie boards, a large umbrella and beach chairs for you to take onto the beach). All you need is to buy your food and bring your clothes. The shower is amazing, the size is more than enough, and the terrace on the top floor with a daybed and spa tub, is just the icing on the cake! Parking is available downstairs, and is super convenient! I would definitely recommend staying here!

Best place ever! Rooftop, nightlife, beach!

No matter what you need from South Beach, everything is at your feet! The condo is in premium location with the beach 2 min walk away ( just cross the street and it is there!), the night life surrounding you with Espagnola and ocean drive directly downstairs, shopping with Lincoln mall 7 min walk away or the convention center a few blocks north! The unit is comfortable with a king size bed and a queen size sofa bed and is well appointed with Keurig, toaster, microwave. It is also well isolated from the potential outdoor nightlife noise, and has a rooftop to die for! Sneak peak onto the ocean, daybed and jacuzzi for private sun time. This unit faces 15th with no direct vis a vis. Will be back for sure!

No Hot Tub, Terrible strong smell, no sleep

I booked this property, because it said Penthouse Suite with a hot tub, it was literally in the description. The hot tub was empty. When I arrived the people greeting me, the guy said I looked like a Billy and kept calling me that instead of my name Scott. Felt very uncomfortable. It also had a horribly strong smell that kept me up all night. I was able to get to sleep at like 6am for a few hours. I tried for a while to figure out where it was coming from to no avail. I felt horrible and couldn't sleep. I reached out to the hosting agency 'Sky Run' on Saturday morning via email, phone, text and the VRBO site I booked on to no response. I decided to leave a little after 10am. Again, contacted them through a variety of places, I asked for 1/2 of my 1800 bill to be reimbursed(which in my mind is more than reasonable) to no response. Tried again today, Tuesday, still no response. I'd welcome help to know how to dispute this with VRBO or if someone knows how to get Sky Run to follow up, I'd appreciate that as well.

Great location, old property, ZERO communication from listing team

The property has an amazing location very close to the beach and has decent views from the roof top area. The most disappointing part of this trip was the hot tub. The tub is very old with chipped paint, cracks, and jets that do not work (AND PROBABLY have not worked for some time). I reached out to the management team the night we arrived thru text, voicemail, and email and was ignored completely during my stay. My husband and I paid significantly more $$ for the hot tub experience and were let down by that part of the trip. I have requested a partial refund but I assume that I will continue to be ignored by Miami SkyRun that manage the property that I stayed in. I would not recommend paying for the upgraded room with the hot tub.

Excellent Penthouse Stay October 2022

My husband and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary this month. Though we have been to South Beach many times and have previously spent the weekend here, our stay in this Penthouse was extra special. We are real estate professionals and I am the interior designer for our flip properties. As such we really appreciated the thoughtful functional decor with ample stylish storage spaces. However, the huge plus was the ceiling to floor, wall to wall sliding doors with beautiful views of SB architecture. The icing on the cake was stepping out onto the large terrace to chill and ascend the circular stairway onto the roof garden to have tea while enjoying a partial ocean view and the beauty of South Beach. The location of this property is ideal being one block away from the famous Ocean Drive with Lincoln Road and Washington Avenue just 2 blocks away. There are numerous restaurants, bars and shopping for dining, drinks or retail therapy. We ate out entirely and every meal was an excellent choices!! Though we live in SE Florida and travel alot we really felt as though we were on an out of town vacation. This Penthouse stay was an ideal choice! JG October 2022

My partner and I truly enjoyed our stay, which overall was relaxing with just enough space for us two. The accommodations were equilivant to the listing, except I don't recall being told that valet parking at the hotel cost $50 a day. With that said the valets are great and helped keep us really busy with fun suggestions (we tipped well too). We would have hoped to see more of the water but we were extremely close to the action and had a great view to people watch. Loved the rooftop hot tub and it felt very private. Something to note; the restaurant listed does not do room service for this room. Would definitely stay again, now better know what to expect.
