"The hotel was located right in the beautiful town of Avallon, walking to everything. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The room and hotel was beautiful and comfortable. we were in France for three weeks and this was one of our favorite towns and hotels, and the restaurant was the best meal ..."

"I suspect that it’s not tourist season yet and there’s no reason to open up the town-it’s still cool and rainy. Not much going on but really fine for our needs. Hotel is clean and modest. Staff is excellent."
