Calme et sympa.

Hôtel en plein centre ville, proche de toutes commodités et pourtant très calme. Petits-déjeuners copieux, parfaits pour les grosses journées qui nous attendaient. Les propriétaires sont très serviables, aimables et aux petits soins. Pour les trois jours de travail sur place, c'était idéal.

Soirée étape commerciale

L'hotel Restaurant du Lion d'Or à Meximieux est bien situé dans le centre ville. Proche de la gare et possibilités de stationnement à proximité. L'offre de restauration le soir est à proximité également. L'accueil est sympatique. La qualité des chambres: elles sont propres et spacieuses, avec salle de bain. J'aurais apprécié un peu plus de décoration (chambre 105). Le décor est d'un blanc neutre très déprimant. Et puis le gros soucis: le chauffage la nuit... Malgré les 2 couvertures supplémentaires prises dans l'armoire, j'ai eu très froid (et ai donc très peu dormi.) C'est dommage.

J'ai occupé la chambre 102. Elle est spacieuse, bien chauffé, le matelas est très confortable, elle possède une grande fenêtre, une double porte pour le bruit du couloir et elle est propre en peinture. Mais tous les meubles sont dépareillés, les quelques tableaux sont de travers, mal assortis, le lit est très bas, il n'y a pas de bouchon dans la baignoire, et plus d'eau chaude après 9h30. De plus, on entend marcher au-dessus, mais cela peut encore passer. Il ne manque qu'un peu de goût pour en faire une chambre vraiment agréable pour tous, un petit effort à faire pour le bien des voyageurs.

De passage à Meximieux

Hôtel un peu vieillot mais propre et assez confortable. Personnel à l'écoute et très sympathique. WIFI ne fonctionnait pas et le parking interne était payant. Petit déjeuner à la française correct et copieux. Etablissement bien situé au centre du bourg et à 300m de la gare, aux portes de la Dombe.

Hôtel situé au cœur de Meximieux. Nous n'avons fait que d'y passer la nuit et donc nous n'avons pas d'avis sur le restaurant ni le petit déjeuner.

The host could not have been more helpful and although there was no restaurant on site he directed us to a nearby one. The property was old but Ok, although the room was a little noisy with a neighbour's air conditioning. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

Bei der Ankunft um kurz vor 21:00 wurde mir eröffnet, dass das Hotel um um 21:00 Uhr Feierabend machen würde. Nein, kein Abendessen und auch keine Getränke. Gleich um die Ecke gäbe es aber ein Restaurant. Dort schließt die Küche leider ebenfalls um 21Uhr aber man kriegt noch ein Bier. Bad: Dusche in der Badewanne, kein Duschvorhang, dafür ein vergammelter Duschkopf. Waschbecken mit unversiegelten Plastikbechern zum Zähneputzen. Die Ablage unter dem halbtrüben Spiegel war nur sehr "vorsichtig" gereinigt: die Ränder der Zahnputzplastikbecher waren noch deutlich zu erkennen. Die Nachtruhe war "nur" durch die blinkende Neonreklame vor dem Fenster gestört. Never again! Lieber 2h Schlaf im Auto und dann weiterfahren.
