Family holiday

The size of the property was ideal for our family of 16 (including 3 under 2's!) although the layout of the rooms a little quirky. The swimming pool was wonderful as the weather was so good as were the grounds. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything we needed. The house is a bit cluttered but full of character. Overall we had a wonderful holiday.

Not quite as described

Spent a relaxing week here and Beatrice is a fantastic host. Had early check in! A couple of things to note that isn’t quite clear. This is a family house and has a lot of the owners personal belongings in. No space in wardrobes or drawers to unpack own clothes. A few hanging racks available but one of these is in the bathroom. Very dusty house but we spent a lot of time outside so could cope. The sofas haven’t been cleaned for a while and when we dropped something underneath it wasn’t pleasant to retrieve! Upstairs bedrooms are full and one room is stacked with matresses which was very odd. The bed was also on the floor and only just cleared the door so made accessibility an issue. Extra charge for bedding and towels but no hand towels in bathrooms. Kitchen has everything you will need but no cupboards for food storage as full! Plenty of fridge space in main kitchen and laundry area. Kitchen bin could do with a lid to stop the flies. Downstairs bedrooms lead into eachother (unless you go outside) and have no storage facilities at all. We didn’t need them or use them but larger groups may need to know this. Staircase is very open and limited head room. Pool area is fantastic and the weather meant we were outside all day every day. Alarm is helpful and easy to use. Brand new bbq which is fab. Description says Lake front! Not true! Location is perfect and very peaceful. There are many houses we have returned to in the past, but feel this one was not as expected.

Great house

Quirky and a bit cluttered but great fun. We are three generations of a family and the house has something for everyone. One drawback was that the Vbro English language site said bedding and towels were included so I was surprised to be charged an extra E175 when we left the property.

Nous étions trois familles à passer la fin d'année dans le magnifique gîte de Béatrice. Le gîte est très bien équipé, plein de chambre et plein de salles de bain. Il y a aussi beaucoup d'occupations pour les enfants (libres, jeux de société) et un grand jardin où ils peuvent prendre l'air. Communication, arrivée et départ très fluides. On a hâte de revenir pour cette fois profiter de la piscine !

Nous avons passé des vacances fantastiques dans la grande maison avec piscine où rien ne manque. Nous avons surtout aimé le jardin extraordinaire avec les beaux arbres pour nous reposer. C’était idéal pour les petits enfants. La communication avec les propriétaires se passait facilement et de manière agréable.

Super séjour au calme dans une maison au charme fou

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans cette maison familiale au charme fou. Son atout principal réside dans sa cour intérieure protégée du vent permettant de profiter de la terrasse à tout moment et d'une magnifique piscine, très agréable, qui a fait le bonheur des enfants (et des parents !!). L'intérieur à beaucoup de charme, c'est une maison typiquement normande avec poutres et tomettes. La pièce principale garde la fraicheur du matin, ce qui est très apprécié lors des journées caniculaires. Chambres fonctionnelles et salles de bain parfaites. Bien sur, ceux qui aiment la décoration standardisée ikea passeront leur chemin: ici on profite de la décoration de nos hôtes, notamment une étonnante collection de moulins à café ! Cette maison est idéale pour des vacances en famille au calme, parfaite pour visiter la région (Verneuil sur Avre ou Conches). Un spécial merci à Béatrice pour sa disponibilité, sa gentillesse et ses conseils. Tout cela a aussi contribué à la réussite de nos vacances !

Une maison parfaite pour un noël en famille !

Merci à Béatrice et Félicia pour leur accueil ! Nous étions 12 avec 3 générations sous le même toit. Tout était là pour passer un Noël comme on les aime. Les retrouvailles au coin de la cheminée, les bons repas cuisinés dans la cuisine toute équipée et autour de l immense table ! Hâte de découvrir le lieu au printemps pour profiter de la piscine et du superbe jardin !

Super maison bien équipée capable d'accueillir jusqu'à 16 personnes. Hôtes très accueillants et disponibles. Jeux à disposition pour les enfants comme pour les grands (tables de ping-pong, badminton...). Une très belle piscine ainsi qu'un cadre magnifique et sécurisé. Nous avons adoré notre séjour.
