"From the moment you arrive, the beauty of the hotel is striking. Walking in feels like stepping into a peaceful sanctuary. Everything about the design, setting and atmosphere immediately creates a sense of serenity. The staff are wonderful and beautifully attired. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment with its own private pool, and it was simply stunning. The layout and design were exceptional. Both bedrooms were beautifully done, and the bathrooms deserve a special mention; there are two, each with enormous standalone baths and huge enclosed showers. The space, design and attention to detail made the apartment feel incredibly luxurious. We visited Café Central for breakfast and lunch because we liked the peaceful vibe and found the fresh pastries, coffee, and variety of dishes to be wonderful. Sitting there quietly with a coffee was a lovely way to spend an hour of the day, and the gentleman Pedro, who works there, is absolutely charming. Overall, it has felt like a real privilege to stay at the Viceroy. It is a truly special place that combines beautiful design, outstanding service and complete tranquillity. The only problem is that you have to check out, and honestly, you won’t want to. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this stay so memorable. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. It is in a calm peaceful location, but also walking distance to a good restaurant, and a short drive to Mértola. The house is decorated with love, it has everything you need, including comfy beds and a perfectly equipped kitchen. We were sad to leave and will treasure our memories here!"

"The drive up to the resort is an adventure in itself. Winding roads through the hills until suddenly you’re in this peaceful hideaway overlooking Tavira’s countryside. It already feels special before you even arrive. What really made our stay unforgettable though was Fransisco. He’s one of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever met while traveling. From the moment we got there, he made us feel completely at home. He wasn’t just a host, more like a friend who truly cares that you have the best experience possible. He gave the absolute best recommendations for restaurants and things to see, plus the special opportunity to be the first harvesters of his new garden on site. The suite was spotless, beautifully designed, and had that cozy, eco-friendly charm that makes you instantly relax. And then there’s the infinity pool, the views are insane. Sitting out there, surrounded by silence and mountains, felt unreal. And we can’t forget the dogs. They were the sweetest, happiest companions during our stay, full of personality, playful, and always around to brighten your day. They added so much warmth to the whole experience. We came here looking for peace and a break from the noise, and we left with so much more: real connection, great memories, and a reminder of how good people and good places can make you feel. If you’re considering staying here , just do it. Between Francisco, the location, and the dogs, this was one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. "
