Half Moon Lake, Barnstead, NH vacation house on water front with firepit,

"We had a lovely time at Half Moon lake. The house is spacious with lots of comfortable spaces to lounge and relax and drink in the unbelievable view. The photos don't do it justice, it is so tastefully decorated and put together. It is both beautiful and incredibly comfy. The kitchen might look simple at first glance but it is one of the most well stocked and functional kitchens I have ever experienced at a holiday rental. All around the property there are thoughtful touches to make the stay extra special. The lake access is amazing and the lake itself has warm clear water. Floating around if you are very still you can see the fish swimming below. We used the Kayaks provided and spent all week in and out of the water. Having a powerhouse grill made cooking meals easy and having a Hannaford close by for shopping was a real benefit. Sweet Caroline's coffee shop has incredible pastries and coffee and Jack's pizza was surprisingly excellent considering its location inside a gas station convenience store. The drive from the Boston area is so quick to be in such a peaceful and pretty area. I can't recommend this lake house enough. I hope we get to come back and stay!"

"We enjoyed our stay here! The property was clean, appliances worked perfectly, and communication was fast and easy. Plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. We didn't find the road noise to be an issue. There are no handrails on the front steps and entrance, but there is a handrail on the inside stairway from the basement (fyi for mobility issues). We found the water pressure in the guest shower to be low, and a faint mildewy smell in the basement. However, we would stay here again, especially because of ping pong :) Thank you!"

"We had a wonderful week in this beautiful, modern, sunny home. The water access/dock is a beautiful place to relax and we had fun taking out the kayaks. The house had everything we needed and the host was communicative, friendly and responsive. Can’t wait to go back!"

"Host was responsive and the property was just close enough to enjoy laconia without a huge price premium. Its a simple cabin, but it did what we needed it to do. Gravel parking lot is not the best for motorcycles if i had to leave constructive feedback. Would rent again."

"Great place for a night. One minor issue we encountered was ran both space heaters on separate outlets (one in bedroom and one in kitchen) and kept popping one of the breakers so we could only run one space heater that was provided. "
