I saw previous comments about the homelessness issue surrounding the hotel, but the hotel itself is very secure and they make sure to have security out at night. "We only have good things to say about the Crowne Plaza Seattle Downtown. The front desk staff was amazing. Hotels.com completely screwed up and did not actually confirm our reservation and reached out to the hotel once and never followed through. If not for the hotel staff, we would have had to go somewhere else. But their dedication to researching what happened (because I had confirmation emails from Hotels.com) and compassion for our dilemma insured that our stress was short lived. They not only made sure we got a room for the price we were quoted but they upgraded us to the best suite in the hotel at no extra charge. We will absolutely stay there again, but will be booking directly through them and not Hotels.com. Especially because there was no way to get help from Hotels.com other than a bot chat which had us going around in circles. "
