VERY RUDE

I have stayed at many hotels around the world, and I have never experienced such rudeness from a staff member. Our flight was cancelled, which caused us to lose a night in Italy. We caught the next available flight and then had a five-hour drive to the hotel. Unfortunately, check-in closed at 7 PM and we arrived at 7:30 PM. While I completely understand we were late, the hostile and unwelcoming way we were treated was totally unacceptable. Instead of even a hint of empathy, we were met with unnecessary attitude. With so many gorgeous hotels nearby, I would strongly suggest staying elsewhere. This place is absolutely not worth the stress.

Das Hotel ist ein sehr schönes Haus. Der dazugehörige Pstk samt grossem Pool ist herrlich. Morgenessen kann man vorbestellen, es gibt ein grosses oder ein kleines Frühstück. Alles war in bester Ordnung

Sauber und schöne Zimmer. Die Chefin macht vieles selber und alleine. Dadurch musste man am morgen warten bis der Tisch für das Frühstück gedeckt war. Würde die Unterkunft wieder buchen.

Mein Aufenthalt im Garni Villa Tyrol vom 27.07.2024 bis 03.08.2024 war einfach fantastisch! Diese wunderschöne, geschichtsträchtige Villa, die im Jahre 1888 erbaut wurde, strahlt einen besonderen Charme aus, der mich sofort begeistert hat. Die Lage in der 30.-April-Straße im Herzen von Meran ist ideal – man ist mitten in der Stadt und gleichzeitig von einem herrlichen, mediterranen Garten umgeben, der absolute Ruhe und Erholung bietet. Die Villa wird mit viel Liebe von Frau Targa Marion geführt, und das spürt man in jedem Detail. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, mit frischen, regionalen Produkten, und das Ambiente der Frühstückspension ist klein, fein und sehr einladend. Besonders beeindruckend fand ich die Geschichte der Villa, die schon seit den 60er Jahren in Familienbesitz ist und stets mit Sorgfalt und Hingabe geführt wurde. Die Nähe zur Innenstadt ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt – ich konnte die Sehenswürdigkeiten, die Therme und viele charmante Cafés und Restaurants bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Das mediterrane Flair und die gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten haben mich jeden Tag aufs Neue begeistert. Ich kann die Villa Tyrol jedem empfehlen, der in Meran einen unvergesslichen Urlaub verbringen möchte. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

🇮🇹 Esperienza negativa per tutta la durata del soggiorno: dal check-in al check-out. I proprietari non conoscono minimamente la professionalità e la cordialità verso gli ospiti della loro struttura che si nota sin dal check in: Appena arrivato in struttura il proprietario, con tono poco garbato, non apprezzando che mi sia presentato prima delle 15 (orario del check-in) mi attacca dicendomi: ‘noi non siamo un hotel a 5 stelle!’. A quel punto specifico che per me era sufficiente solamente lasciare le valigie e che sarei tornato all’orario da loro indicato per avere la camera (anche se era comunque pronta in quel momento). Lui ribatte dicendo: noi non siamo un deposito bagagli! Intorno mezzogiorno, scendo alla reception chiedendo se era possibile avere un caffe' espresso, la risposta fu diretta: No! perchè stiamo andando a mangiare!! Alle 10.03 del mattino seguente, stavo per rientrare da una commissione personale e la proprietaria della struttura mi telefona con tono alterato ricordandomi che il checkout e' alle ore 10 e mi 'invita' ad affrettarmi a liberare la stanza immediatamente. 🇬🇧 Very bad experience for the whole stay: from the check-in to the check-out. The owners are rude and definitely not friendly: when I just arrived at the property, the owner didn't appreciate I was there before 3 pm and, with an ugly tone, he said: ‘we are not a 5-star hotel or left-luggage office!' Later, I asked for a coffee and they replied: No! Because we are going to eat!

Vi boede på et værelse hvor toilettet lå ude på gangen. Det vidste vi ikke da vi bookede. Det var meget upraktisk. Vores brusekabine var for enden af sengen. Det var ikke et godt værelse. Det var et roligt hotel, men værelset levede ikke op til standarden.

Stil des Hauses und der Zimmer sehr schön und ansprechend, das Badezimmer könnte aber einen Hauch grösser sein.... Die Lage ist super und eine kleine Oase im Zentrum, der Garten mit Pool grosszügig und ruhig - ein toller Kurzaufenthalt mit netten Gastgebern!

Sehr hübsche Villa mit tollem Pool mitten im Zentrum gelegen, so etwas gibt es nicht oft. Die Gastgeber waren außerordentlich freundlich! Nur an so heißen Tagen wie Mitte August wäre eine Klimaanlage angenehm. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Mit einer liebevollen Einrichtung wird versucht, den Charme vergangener Epochen zu erhalten. Das Personal wirkt manchmal überfordert und hat Probleme auf "berechtigte" Wünsche der Gäste einzugehen. Sehr gut gelöst ist das Parkplatzproblem.

Nette Gastgeber, schöne und saubere Zimmer. Leckeres Frühstück. Sehr gute Lage für den Stadtbesuch. Toilette war ausschließlich für unser Zimmer auf dem Flur, das war in der Buchung leider nicht ersichtlich.

Nice Hotel, Incredible Rude Staff.

Just confirming the first impression: it is not the check in time, it is not that I was expecting a 5 stars service, as the owner keep saying, I was expect some courtesy. The hotel is nice and clean, the owner is just rude, it assault you verbally (first things to discuss my negative first impression was to wait for me on Sunday morning before breakfast and stop me to “discuss”) and I am taking comfort from the fact that I am not the only one but she has lots of negative reviews. No hard feeling just stating my experience, if you check more then one person is saying the same things, apologies if it is not what you would like to hear. Feedbacks are precious and given to improve but if you do not listen and shout at people it will only get worst.
