Perfect weekend getaway

We needed a little getaway not too far from home. This was the perfect spot for our little families of 4. The kids loved the hot tub and feeding the deer up close. The house was quaint and cozy and close to spectacular views.

We stayed there twice and I would love to go back today if i could! The cabin is a very good size, has everything you need, it is very clean....the deers on the backyard are simply out of this world and we also got some snow one night! It was magical!

This property was semi-private yet warming atmosphere! This place was stocked with the bare essentials such as cookware and what was needed such as linens. There was a cold snap while I was there so the host messaged me letting me know that there were going to come by to cover the outdoor spigots, so I appreciated the heads up. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and I received all the information ahead of time. I will say that I did notice a few cobwebs, mouse droppings, and insects and would need to be better cleaned for future reservations. As I know that this property is situated around woods, I would have expected a deeper clean prior to our arrival.

Deer Haven

There were deer everywhere in the back yard! We enjoyed the outdoor space with the hot tub and fire pit. Great kitchen to cook in and comfortable bedrooms. We come to Mentone every year in October and always stay at a different cabin. I think we have found the cabin we will stay in again next year!

Perfect place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The living room was so comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were just right for our family. The kids especially enjoyed having their own tv in the back bedroom. The fire pit area was inviting and we saw the deer several times when we were enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. Communication with the owner was easy and helpful. We look forward to staying again. Thank you for making this stay the best!

This is the perfect set-up if you are pulling a trailer or have multiple vehicles as there is plenty of room to park or go around the house to exit at the other side. The interior is gorgeous and perfect for the setting with cowhide covered chairs and river rock floor in the shower. The kitchen had everything we needed.

A great place to stay.

We loved the property. It was everything we had hoped for. The deer greeted us as we arrived and as we left. The hot tub was warm and relaxing. The fire pit was spacious and safe. Plenty of amenities. My only request would be for a heater vent in the master bathroom and the back bedroom as well as a small washer/dryer. We definitely plan to come back.
