  • Stayawhile is a well-appointed cabin near the heart of downtown Mentone. Located on a private, wooded lot with a hot tub, wet weather creek, fire pit, air hockey, shuffle board and arcade game (Galaga), this is the perfect home base for you and your family to explore Desoto Falls, Little River Canyon, Desoto State Park, and the many other outdoor adventures that Lookout Mountain has to offer. We hope to host you soon for your next getaway!

Our getaway at Stay Awhile for our 30th Anniversary was great! Angie thought of everything guests might possibly need and was so communicative during the whole process. The house was very clean and the decor was great. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to revisit in the future.

Just a perfect place for our needs! We were looking for a nice family-friendly, pet-friendly cabin that had both indoor and outdoor entertainment areas. It had two nice sized bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a half bath. The setting is beautiful even though it does not have a mountain view. It has a large lot with front and backyard. We loved that it had a game room upstairs with three things to do. Though we did not use it, there was a fantastic area around a fire pit and back deck with a hot tub. Just too warm to use them but it was beautifully laid out. The house itself had comfortable furniture with with reclining options. The full kitchen was well stocked with all you would need, including a nice coffee bar. Maybe five minutes from the Mentone Market with lots of surrounding attractions. We spent time at Cloudland Canyon State Park in Rising Fawn, GA, maybe 35 minutes or so away from the cabin. DeSoto is a 5-10 min drive with tons to do there. We also LOVED going to the Ridgeview Drive-In Theatre in Hammondville, maybe 20 minutes away. Highly recommend that! This place was an awesome place to play cards with family, have a Galaga arcade showdown, air hockey tournament, or table shuffle board. Nice TV's and a cool surround sound system in the living area. Just fantastic spot. 5 Stars from this family! Highly Recommend!!

The home is beautiful. Our grands had the best time, and the games in the loft gave them so much to do together. The hot tub and deck was awesome.The beds were sooo comfortable. Everything was just perfect, what more can I say!
