We needed a stay while we waited to close on our house and this was perfect! The fireplace was relaxing and the porch was our second living room. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook whatever you want!
House was very rustic and the view of the water was splendid , would highly recommend a stay here. Need to bring own cleaning supplies, trash bags etc, a few of the kitchen appliances need to be updated
Had the Most Amazing and Peaceful weekend away with friends. The cabin/home was Unbelievable!!! Even more Phenomenal than in the pics!! Checkin was super easy! Will definitely recommend!!
This property is incredible and cozy! Private and clean with excellent views. The host was spectacular and adhered to any questions quickly. The wifi was spotty but the host was quick to send someone out to repair it! Fantastic place and we will be back!
We had a wonderful trip. the host was wonderful, and we would definitely go back in the future. The cabin was perfect for us. We were able to explore the area and shop with no problem. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking meals and rest and relaxation. my favorite part was the screened in porch. Five stars!!!
Enjoyed a long weekend in the Mentone area by staying here and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature in a well kept cabin on the river. Loved the screened in porch! Prepare yourself for no phones or computers! Keith
Property was beautiful clean and functional! Further upon some confusion that had me pay a pet bill for non-existent pets I was refunded the payment immediately!
My sister & I brought my mom on a weekend getaway on what would have been my parents anniversary. When we arrived at the cabin, we couldn’t get the code to work so I called Susan. Without hesitation, she came right over & let us in. The cabin was immaculate! The beds were so comfortable & everything that we needed was there! I will certainly stay again!

Great house...awful location
The cabin was really nice, well cleaned and well stocked. The drawbacks for me were that the house is located about 10 yds away from what seems to be a major thoroughfare for cars, atv's and pedestrian traffic. Not to mention, the neighbors dog howls ALL night!
The stay was just what we needed! Very quiet and peaceful. As for the view maybe in late fall or winter when there are no leaves! The view of the water could not be seen because of heavy trees. Would be nice if there was some night light around the yard area. Very steep parking no matter where you park.
Our family of 4 stayed at the cabin for Spring break and it could not have been better! This cabin is absolutely beautiful and perfect for families with kids. I was worried about the road after reading some other reviews but it was not busy at all. The river is close enough but not so close that kids can’t play outside safely. We spent every afternoon playing in the water and canoeing. The back porch is screened in and was the perfect spot for us to play board games and spend the evenings. The bedrooms have beautiful views and were incredibly comfortable. The side/front porch was a perfect spot for morning coffee and had the coziest rocking chairs. My kids cried the whole drive down the mountain when we left saying they miss the cabin. We can not wait to book again!
We had a great time on weekend get away. With renting the cabin being a highlight. It is feet from the West Fork of Little River with a view from the screened porch (our favorite area). This home was very clean and we had zero issues. There are a few quirky things like the bathroom areas are a little tight. Kitchen is a little tight as well. But the extra room in dinning area, living room, and outdoor areas make up for this. We also appreciated the simple check out list. The only little warning was the neighbors outdoor dogs (which the owner doesn’t have any control over) they were very loud night one but by the next morning they calmed down and it was no problem. We would definitely stay again!
12/2023. Myself, my husbands, his brother snd sister in law. Arrived Mon.- left on Fri.
Stay was great. Even better than we expected.
Kitchen well supplied with great cooking utensils.
Rooms were clean with all needed furniture
(Only thing missing was a mirrors in the bedrooms)
Great tv in living area... wifi not so good.
But everything else was great.
Wish it had been summer and we could have fished.
1 to 5 stars rating... differently a 5+....
The house and it's decoration simply beautifully done.
Thank you for a very enjoyable 4 days.

Good stay but needs some work.
Good stay all items that were represented in pictures were solid. There were some little things like no service for cell phones and no lights causing us to walk on to neighbor's front porch looking for the site. Cleanliness was not great stains on beds, trash in kitchen upon arrival, toilets not cleaned, no additional trash bags, no paper towels, pots and pans were not cleaned all the way. The wifi was ran off the neighbors account and not continuous at any point during the stay and when it was on it didn't work well. beautiful scenery spacious inside just need to fix those items.
We were surprised the cabin was on the corner of a street leading to a dead end with other cabins . We had a lot of traffic. The neighbors big dog howled alot ( I know it isn’t the owners fault). The floors need a good cleaning. Also the temperature should be dropped to below 80 before arrival in the summer. The cabin was very hot and the concrete floors were wet. It needs more wash cloths. Would never be enough for the amount of people it is supposed to cater to. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment . We were also surprised that there is a cabin so close on the property. We were happy no one stayed there while we were there.
We stayed here in mid-October where the fall colors were just about peak. The panoramic view from the porch exceeded our expectations - just breathtaking. The water was a nice feature although the boardwalk was not really functioning. We found that you don't really need it to get to the water's edge. We stayed with another couple we were very close to, so the close quarters upstairs was not a problem at all. (The Jack/Jill bathroom sink might need a faucet that is a bit longer to allow for more clearance to wash your hands better). The beds were super comfy - loved the pillow top mattresses and the view out of the windows was spectacular. The chairs and couch in the sitting room were comfortable too and conducive to some sweet fellowship time. Kitchen had most everything we needed but we did bring some of our own items and used them. The host has been super communicative and has gone above and beyond to ensure that we have an excellent experience. We plan to rent this place again!
The porches were unusable due to covered in pollen & dirt. That was very disappointing as we would have loved to sit outside.I probably shouldn't have rented a pet friendly cabin because there was dog hair on the comforters. There was only a half a roll of toilet paper & luckily it was enough for our stay. Wear socks or slippers inside or your feet will be black. If your cold natured bring your own blanket/ throws. This house has the bare minimum when it comes to extras.
Its located on the corner of a small street but speeding traffic is more that you would think. Definitely would not recommend this cabin for children.
Overall it was a nice cabin in a good location for what we had planned.
