Thoughtfully designed to sleep up to 7 guests, this cozy home is ideal for families or small groups. The main level features two sleeping areas—one traditional bedroom and a second with a convenient Murphy bed (please note, this room does not include a closet). Upstairs, the spacious loft offers two twin beds and plenty of room to move around. Whether you're gathered in the living room for a movie night, sharing stories over a board game, or simply enjoying the quiet mountain air, Firefly at Mentone offers a warm, welcoming space to make memories together.

Nice but the water had a bad smell in hot tub. Shower was bad - no pressure. Couldn’t wash hair. Needs improvement in that area only.

Host was incredibly communicative and helpful, and we were very impressed with the amenities(especially the kitchen!) The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, even a full set of grilling tools were left on the grill along with a spare propane tank! We thought that was incredibly thoughtful. My wife and I had an amazing, relaxing time. We grilled, relaxed in the hottub every day and by the firepit at night. We loved exploring the quaint little town of Mentone and plan to return soon! The grill at this cabin is propane, so charcoal is unnecessary (though we were prompted to bring some for the grill). No complaints, all compliments. The checkout list is very minimal, that was a huge plus.

Me, my mom and 2 teenage daughters stayed for a night. The place and grounds were so clean and we loved the hot tub!! The little neighborhood was so cute with a nice paved road! Maybe bring an extra blanket or two and a flash light for getting to the hot tub but 5 stars!!!!

40th B'day get away

I was not impressed by much with this visit. The cabin had not been swept, the master linens looked to have blood stains on them. When we contacted the owner all they said was "we will discuss with our cleaning crew". There was no gas for the fireplace outside and the outdoor couch was nasty and infested with cat hair. Renter beware!

Disapointing

First thing I saw, was the entrance, it is a lawsuit waiting to happen. No lights on the outside. The fire pit didn't work. We text the owners I guess and was told to take the tank and have it filled. So not our job but we did that and the firepit would not stay lit. Ok, we chose that place because of the fire pit and hot tub. The furniture and the floor around the fire pit was wore out and nasty. I had to sweep around it and the deck. The hot tub was in back and there was no lighting to find your way to the hot tub in the dark plus you had to walk down killamajar to get to the hot tub in the DARK. So that just ruined our plans for hot tub and sitting around the fire. The beds were horrible, and the inside furniture was the most uncomfortable I have ever sat in. We took breakfast stuff to cook and there was no frying pan or anything to cook on. I would never stay here again and should be refunded back some money for this horrible weekend. We got up on Sunday and left around 7 because we just wanted to go home where we could find some where comfortable to sit. Do not rent this property!!! I took pictures but I don't see anywhere I could post them for you to see. Their pictures are deceiving.

Tiny house getaway

This tiny house was adorable and much more spacious than we expected. We loved the porch with the gas fire pit. The hot tub was fantastic too. The house was fairly private and the community is very quiet. It’s close enough to Mentone to be convenient but far enough away to be quiet. The beds were comfy and the house had everything you needed (keurig, cooking utensils, etc). The shower was HOT and the ACs were COLD. We’ve always wanted to stay in a tiny house and this one was perfect. I definitely recommend keeping all your food in air tight containers or just keep them in the fridge. We had a great stay!
