The cabin features one private king bedroom and one bathroom, along with a cozy living room centered around a wood-burning fireplace—perfect for relaxing evenings. Vintage-inspired appliances add character and warmth while still providing modern comfort.

Enjoy multiple outdoor spaces, including a screened-in back porch, a large front porch, and an outdoor fire pit for quiet nights under the stars. A charcoal grill is available for casual outdoor meals, and deer are frequently seenwandering through the property.

Anniversary get a way

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was well supplied and very clean. The huge mattress was great and the electric blanket was very warming! Well stocked with firewood and charcoal which we enjoyed.

Fantastic stay at Deerwood

It was a very cozy and clean cabin with so many nice amenities including an electric blanket! A wonderful place to unplug from work! We were able to see some wildlife while sitting on the porch. Close to Desota Falls and loved the Wildflower Cafe!

Secluded cabin in the woods

We loved this adorable little cabin and its surroundings! We were very comfortable and cozy, and were so pleasantly surprised at all the firewood that they had for us! We enjoyed several fires in the fireplace. Everything was wonderful and we would definitely come back!!

Absolutely wonderful.

Nice get away spot for couples. Secluded enough in the woods but not to far from town. Really enjoyed the stay. Spent most of the time there on the back porch listening to the rain fall and watching the wildlife roam the the woods. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great stay

I had a wonderful stay. The cabin providing up on the firewood was a godsend. This was a perfect place for a weekend getaway. It was very peaceful, and was very close to lots of walking trails. On Saturday I went to the local farmers market and got a bunch of yummy produce.

Quiet and Peaceful

The cabin is comfortable and well-equipped. The location is very quiet. You do need a vehicle with a little clearance to get down the road. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful, isolated cabin in a very quiet area. The cabin floor plan is one of the best we have seen. Watching the deer was a new experience for my wife. She totally loved it.

Loved this cabin and the location. We had two full days to enjoy the area and some eating places. We loved Wildflower Cafe and The Hatter Cafe. Our cabin was a perfect drive into town. We enjoyed the back screened in porch , especially when it rained during the late afternoon and evening. I highly recommend this cabin and a visit to Mentone 😊😊

Simply romantic

Our lives have been so busy with work, kids, and dogs, that we forgot to focus on romance. This place made it happen. Quiet and Secluded, but accessible. We had a fire inside with our morning coffee. Then an evening bonfire out back with smores. Loved that we got to reconnect.agreat little cabin

Peaceful cabin in the woods!!

We stayed at Deerwood cabin during Easter weekend with our dogs. We enjoyed the weather, sitting on the front porch and grilling in the afternoon. The porch sitting in the morning with the beautiful sound of the rails of trains in the valley during coffee. Very relaxing watching stars and sunsets in the evening. The cabin was close to everything from grocery, gas and restaurants. We enjoyed a morning hike at Little River Canyon Preserve. Thank you for your great hospitality!!! Perfect

It was better than I could have imagined. Three perfect days walking in the woods and hiking the nearbye trails, reading on the deck and enjoying the silence. The cabin was wonderfully comfortable— cozy and home like. Thank you for a restful getaway!
