    Tarbucks Hill is a cozy cabin located on Lookout Mountain in Mentone, Alabama. The cabin offers an indescribable 180-degree view of the mountains into Georgia and Tennessee. The beautiful valley below is full of wildflowers, lakes, cows, and horses grazing. Listen for the whistle of the train, watch the soaring eagles, and gaze at the starlit skies. You will not find a more peaceful place to enjoy time with family and friends.

    The amazing outdoor living space is so relaxing and peaceful. The minute you arrive at Tarbucks Hill, relaxation sets in. The cabin boasts a beautiful front porch complete with rocking chairs. It offers a pool and hot tub overlooking the brow. There are two outdoor fireplaces one on the covered back porch. There is a small playground for the kids to enjoy. You will find plenty of outdoor seating for relaxation with views and sunsets that will make you never want to leave.

    The interior of the cabin is decorated with all the charm of a mountain cabin and equipped with all the comforts of your home. The cabin includes 3 king bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The kitchen is well-stocked and has both a regular coffee maker and Keurig. There are two dens one with both a pool table and a shuffle board table. This is a great place for a family gathering.

    ** Due to the increase price of propane their is a one time fee for the heated hot tub. It will be on and hot for your entire trip. The fee is $150. Please let me know if you want to opt out of using the hot tub and I can take off the fee. Also, please note the pool is not heated.

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful Cabin! Great location very close to town and the views and sunsets were just incredible. The cabin was clean and the hot tub was great for the cooler weather. Would definitely book this place again. The owner was very easy to communicate with too!

Perfect Getaway for a Girls Weekend

Family and friends, a mixture of both, ages 39-76 shared a lovely weekend filled with laughter, food and fun. The location could not be better and the views are absolutely stunning. The patio and hot tub stole the show. Enough room for everyone to relax and enjoy! 10/10 would recommend!

Amazing view

We took our granddaughters for a weekend away and this house was the perfect space for us. While we were at the house we spent much of our time outside on the large patio or in the pool. Hiking and shopping were close by as well. The view can't be beat and we spent every night in the hot tub watching the sun set. We hope to return next year.

The view was amazing! And could be enjoyed from the inside as well as the outside due to the large windows.The outside fireplaces were enjoyed as much as weather permitted. However, it was cold and rained a couple of nights during our stay. The outdoor hot tub was wonderful. Weather only allowed us to use it once during our stay.There are great indoor activities. A pool table, indoor shuffleboard and a mini pool table and TV's. We were never looking for something to do. The owners have stocked the kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals for 6-8 people. Beds were comfortable.There was no closet available in the Master bedroom, so you should limit hangup clothes.Overall, we had a very nice Thanksgiving holiday.

Relaxing getaway

Such a peaceful getaway that was definitely needed! We stayed at the cabin for the entire 3 day stay except to pick up food at the surrounding eateries. We did take a quick trip to DeSoto Falls with the grandkids. Our 6 year old grandson was sitting in the hot tub and said, “I have never been more relaxed in my entire life!” Turned out to be a great bonus to see the aurora while we were there, since we were far from city lights. If you are looking for a rejuvenating and restful experience, this is the place!!

I can't express how much we loved staying here. We took our son and future daughter for a pre-wedding present. Everything was as described. It was perfect. We didn't leave the entire visit. Beautiful Cabin in a beautiful location

The cabin was clean and tastefully decorated, providing a very comfortable retreat for our family of 6 (including a 4 and a 2 year old). The location was fantastic with easy access to hiking trails. The pool and hot tub were very nice with an amazing view! We had plenty of great times relaxing in the pool between going on adventures in the area. The stairway was beautiful but not great for our young toddler. Open stairs with space between stairs and rail which made for a dangerous situation for young children going up the stairs on their own. Would recommend for older kids and adults. But all in all we really enjoyed our stay and would go back again (when our youngest grandchild is a bit older).

Mentone Cabin

Excellent getaway! If you are looking for high luxury and sizzle, this place is not for you. But if you are looking for quaint, charming, peaceful – you will find it here. The owner was very accessible for the minor issues we had. The pool/hot tub overlooking the mountains featuring great sunsets were fabulous. And for indoor time there is a pool table and a shuffleboard table that provided hours of entertainment. The house is well equipped with everything you need. There are no grocery stores except for a charming little market, but there is a Walmart and everything else you might think of about 25 minutes away. We spent our days relaxing by the pool and hiking nearby trails. The town is absolutely beautiful! Definitely would consider another vacation there.

Can’t say enough good things about this property, ,other than our stay was way too short! The views are EXACTLY as described….breathtaking! The pool was perfect! We only left the place once to run to the market up the street. Be sure to get your groceries before you get there though…..it’s a drive to the nearest major grocery store. There is a quaint little market up the road. Decent selection but limited. There was a strange odor in part of the house and after a day we finally figured someone left the cooler with water and it and it was causing the smell. Removed it from the house and let the owner know what we found. No issues at all with the property! Would DEFINITELY stay there again!
