Cottage Winsum - Exquisite Garden - 6 pers.

"Wir haben 11 Nächte in diesem charmanten Haus in Winsum übernachtet und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das alte Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet. In der Küche mit Aussicht mangelt es an nichts. Esszimmer und Wohnzimmer sind ebenfalls sehr schön. Die Betten waren bei Ankunft bezogen. Handtücher waren ebenfalls vorhanden. Besonders schön war der Garten direkt am Kanal, auf dem regelmäßig kleine Boote verkehren. Das Auto kann problemlos auf einem freien Parkplatz ganz in der Nähe abgestellt werden. Winsum selbst ist ein wirklich schöner, kleiner Ort und bietet neben dem dem historischen Kern mit zwei Mühlen und einigen Restaurants auch gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die quirlige Stadt Groningen ist in 20 Minuten mit dem Auto oder mit dem Zug erreichbar. Die Fahrradstrecken rund um Winsum sind hervorragend. Das große Naturschutzgebiet Lauwersmeer bietet viele Rad- und Wandermöglichkeiten, sowie diverse Vogelbeobachtungshütten. Von Lauwersoog ist ein Tagesausflug auf die Insel Schiermonnikoog problemlos möglich."

"This is really nice hotel. If you want to explore the northern Netherlands this is the way to go. Friendly staff makes the difference in any hotel. This small hotel has some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered in all my travels. Highly recommended. "
