"I took my grandkids to the pool and was asked to not use one side of the pool because they were giving swimming lessons. They weren't staying at the hotel and being a paying customer should not have to restrict my use of the pool."

"It's a beautiful brand new hotel conveniently located outside Kalamazoo just off I94. Best breakfast I've had in months. An indication of this was the fact that the fried/baked potatoes were freshly prepared, with the skins still on. Coffee was a bit week, a very minor complaint about a fantastic stay. And the price at $125 plus tax was more than reasonable."

"My wife and I enjoyed the dinning area, and the breakfast was excellent. The room was nice but smelled like cigaretts. the leg on the table was broken, but very clean. overall I would still stay there."

"We were surprised there was no mini fridge or microwave. The Courtyards we’ve stayed at before have had those. There was a big tear in the upper side of the small couch and the curtains were broken where the closure was. I think they were understaffed. The gal who checked us in, was very nice, but had cleaning gloves on as we must have taken her away from a cleaning job. We’ve always liked Courtyards, but I’m not sure we’ll choose one again. They did have a great shower head."
