"My husband and I love staying here (our 2nd time). It's a beautifully decorated, clean and well-stocked property. It's in the best location, right in downtown Mendocino, with easy access to all the shops. The best part is the large, wraparound deck with views of the headlands and ocean. We spent most of our time on the deck. It's also easy to hike around and even go down to a small, but quiet beach. The owner is very accommodating and wants the guests to have fun. We'll definitely be back again,...

"Fantastic location! Great views of the garden area and ocean. We stayed at the JD house in the queen room with a view. The room is small and there is nowhere to store luggage or your clothing aside from a small hanging area. The tub is listed as a soaking tub only so if you are hoping the jets in the tub work, they won’t. They have been turned off likely to prevent noise disturbances to your neighbors. It is walking distance to all the local shops and restaurants and walking paths to views...

It was not a problem though. Other than that it was a fantastic stay. The location was amazing! We enjoyed our stay very much and loved the light in the loft and the view."
