Memphis Modern

Modern and tastefully remodeled home includes all the high-end amenities, and an open floor plan joining the kitchen, living room, and dining area. Flat screen 4K TVs in every room, and high speed internet and Wi-Fi. Free reserved off-street parking behind the house and a large backyard. Just minutes from downtown. Absolutely no parties and no locals! Your reservation will be canceled.

Living room has a two story ceiling, 70" flat screen 4K TV, Apple TV, comfy full length couch, and plenty of additional comfortable seating. Kitchen includes quartz countertops, matching custom backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and is fully stocked to meet your needs. Coffee is also complementary!

First floor also includes full bathroom, laundry room, and bedroom with a queen-size bed with a comfortable Casper mattress, large closet, and 60" flat screen 4K TV.

Second floor has one bedroom with one queen-size bed with a comfortable Casper mattress, and a one full bath. Also upstairs is a loft area with two Twin XL beds that sleep one each (also comfortable Casper mattresses) and a futon that sleeps one more. Loft area looks down on the first floor living room and has access to a balcony overlooking the front yard and Second St.

Home includes a large backyard and two free reserved off-street parking spaces available for guests. Free on-street parking is also available for guests.

Location is tough to beat! Walking distance to the Renasant Convention Center, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Bass Pro Pyramid. 5 minutes to Beale St., FedEx Forum, The Orpheum Theater, and the rest of downtown. Or catch a carriage ride as they pass right by your front door and enjoy your leisurely ride downtown. For safety and security, property includes two exterior cameras only. A doorbell camera that covers the front porch and a backdoor camera that covers the back porch.

Mother’s Day weekend

We had a wonderful time in Memphis, the host was wonderful. We got in town early. She let us check in so we just wouldn’t have to ride around. The house was decorated very nicely. It was in the area close to everything. Will stay there again.

Just book it!!

If you’re considering a trip to Memphis, just book this house! It was light, modern, clean, and comfortable. It was in a great neighborhood, literally two minutes from everything we wanted to do. We even strolled our two grandkids downtown for the marathon. Definitely will book again.

Quaint place close to downtown

It was a cute place in an up and coming neighborhood that was a cheap Uber ride to downtown for us older folks. The host was very responsive to our requests.

This house and location were AWESOME!!!

Dane was quick to respond my inquiries. The house was very clean and inviting. It was well stocked and very comfortable. The location is within two miles of the downtown arts and tourist district. We were in town for a soccer tournament and the kids loved having their own room and not being confined to a hotel room or lobby.

Close to Beale Street

Location is just a short 5 minute drive to Beale Street, The Bass Pro Shop Pyramid and Mudd Island and it only took us around 20 minutes to reach Graceland. The private parking pad in back of house was a plus. The house was clean and nicely furnished. We enjoyed the little second story belcony. Great place to sit and have an evening drink or morning coffee. During our visit we did noticed a smoke smell upstairs despite the house being non-smoking. Overall I would recommend this property.

Best VRBO stay ever!

The host was friendly! The instructions were clear, easy and timely! This made our check in effortless! This was much appreciated after a very long drive. The property is very well kept and clean! It looks exactly as in represented in the photos. This has not always been the case! We will happily stay here again in available! Thank you for making our Memphis stay enjoyable!

Disappointing, not as expected

Based on all previous 10-star reviews, I had no worries about renting this property. Unfortunately the previous guests left it smelling like pot and air freshener. The owner was quick to communicate and refund part of our payment, especially after hearing about some other issues (missing TV remote, broken microwave, missing glassware). The bedding and couch need a good cleaning, and there are some things that would make the property more comfortable - better seating in the family room, a combo lock on the back door so you can enter the property from the driveway, replace burned out lightbulbs, dust baseboards, fresh coat of paint. I can only imagine how tough it is to be a vrbo owner of a property that guests decide to trash. And after our recent bad experiences, I think hotels may be a better option for staying in the Memphis area.

EXAMPLE OF MEMPHIS REVIVAL

The house is located within minutes of down-town and is an example of the Memphis property revival. In the midst of newly renovated and newly built properties, the house is extremely clean, well supplied, and a comfortable environment for 4-5 people. The deck upstairs is a great place to have a cocktail, reflect and plan. Off street parking in the back of the house is extremely convenient. Nice liquor store two blocks up the street should you require refreshments. Beds are comfortable and bedding is new. Great pick for your Memphis blues trip. Only one suggestion. TV options should include ESPN for football, but then again there are plenty of bars in the area to watch your favorite sporting events. Dane's house great option, have yourself some Gus's fried chicken, check out Cozy Corner for BBQ, take in Graceland tour as the new museums are amazing, and if you are into dive bars, Alex's Tavern is 2.8 miles away and has the most fabulous late night burger and ribs.
