"Small family-owned inn located in center of Civitella in Val di Chiana. Room was comfortable and included all we needed. It was cold upon check-in which the co-owner tried to remedy with a space heater. It took a while. The room warmed up after the first night. "We found it to be a charming, immaculate, upscale retreat with a hilltop view of the beautiful countryside. We were given personalized attention and many unexpected fine touches, like fresh fruit in the room. Highly recommend."
"Loveled the location, staff and property. We spent the week there with our baby and the grandparents. The staff was super welcoming, they prepared us a great diner, breakfast and reserved us a cooking class to learn how to make real pasta. It was a peaceful, very cozy and far from tourists. "Die Lage und die Weinfarm sind sehr schön gelegen und bilden ein wunderschönes Ensemble. Die Unterkunft war in Ordnung. Bäder könnten sauberer sein. Handtuchwechsel war auch nach drei Tagen nicht. "Was using this hotel as a stopover while driving to Sorrento from the UK. The hotel was immaculate and extremely modern and in great condition. It was very convenient for our stopover as right next to the motorway.
They person on reception while we were there was extremely helpful. On the night we stayed the hotel restaurant wasn't open but he recommended another local restaurant which he booked for us, and his recommendation was spot on."

"We had a wonderful time! The central location made it easy to travel in any direction. House was lovely, pool was excellent, property was very secluded - yet super markets were only 20 minutes away. Google maps did say we had arrived about 1/2 mile before the actual driveway, but the property sign made it clear once we reached it. We were pleasantly surprised the pool reached up to 6 feet deep in the center, and was plenty big enough for multiple swimmers. The interior was charming, with beautiful exposed timbers, and the bedrooms were sizable. There was plenty of wildlife - but alas, we saw no boars. The host was alway quick to respond and helpful. "

From music to create a pleasant atmosphere in the communal areas, especially restaurant and breakfast space. (So awkward to hear everyone chew their food around you and the kitchen staff comments in the background)
To electrical jobs left undone in the room leaving holes in the ceiling right above our heads on the pillows, or dead light switches that forced us to get up from the bed to turn the lights on and off.
Good features were: spacious rooms, enormous beds and great walk in shower.
Also the Tesla chargers and the location right next to the motorway exit arr very convenient.
Wouldn’t come back if not at a super cheap rate."
