I’m Brita—a host with a big heart, an architect at heart, and always on the lookout for beauty in everyday life. I live in Berlin with my family. We converted Mellenthin into a private retreat and gathering place for our extended family. Today, it has become a special place for guests seeking individuality, atmosphere, and space for connection. Our old brick barn was love at first sight for us—rustic, charming, and full of history. Little by little, we’ve renovated and designed it without losing its original character. I love creating something new from old things, filling spaces with soul, and never losing sight of what matters most: that people come together and feel at home. As your host, I’m always in touch, from your first enquiry to your farewell. It’s important to me that my guests don’t just stay the night, but truly feel at home—whether they’re here with their children, dogs, the whole extended family, or among friends.
