"Warmly welcomed by the lovely Lucia & her husband, her place is perfectly positioned in the central part of Oppido making it very walkable to all the interesting points in the awesome cultural town, the locals are all so hospitable, it was an extreme pleasure to visit my mum‘s hometown. "Family run hotel - so helpful and friendly which really made our holiday special. Never been on first name terms with hotel staff before ! But special mention to Martina, Aurelio, Fabio and Katrina 😀 (& Kevin on the Marlove boat) Hotel very peaceful as out of town. We walked into Tropea old town - it takes about 40 mins safely in daylight but can organise the hotel minibus pick up easily in the morning for evening return. We liked our room (no 9) with sea views and spacious although could have done with some drawers so we could properly unpack. Hotel restaurant great food and busy. Pool bar menu limited in day but freshly made. Pool not massive but also not busy at all in October, so plenty of sunbeds. Worth going to local beach Riaci - long steep walk so pay for the hotel minibus to take you there and back !"

"Everything was excellent except we had no hot water to take a shower. When I mentioned it at checkout the gentleman said "Oh yes, they are working on fixing it". Large assortment for breakfast and comfortable bed. I booked a seaview room but only had the view of a building but that's ok since it was just one night. Friendly staff at the front desk"

"The property was absolutely stunning. Though it was supposedly at capacity it felt like there were only a few of us staying most the time. It was very quiet and very restful. The amenities were wonderful. The only complaint would be our dinner meal at the main restaurant. It was not good at all and so we did not return there the second night. But the breakfast and bar menu, although limited was good."

"This place has spectacular views and looks like a Hobbit Village set in the hills of Tropea area. Elevator to the beach is excellent and property is extremely charming. There were plenty of things to do and see (views of volcano, swimming, pool bar, evening music).
