Set amid lush green countryside, Casa das Inverneiras is a unique retreat in the heart of the Peneda-Gerês National Park, ideal for those seeking rest, nature and authenticity. It is part of the Casas da Assureira, together with Casa do Palheiro and Refúgio da Rossaura.

This house, which belonged to a 19th-century family from Castro, originally consisted of a cattle yard on the ground floor and living quarters on the upper floor. It has been carefully restored, preserving its historical character and restoring it to its former glory, in a harmonious blend of tradition, comfort and nature.

The house has 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds), 1 bathroom with shower and 1 toilet, air conditioning, a cosy living room and a fully equipped kitchen. It also has free Wi-Fi and a pleasant outdoor terrace, perfect for enjoying breakfast in the open air or toasting to tranquillity and well-being.

Surrounded by rich fauna and flora, Casa das Inverneiras invites you to spend a few days in full contact with nature. Here you can step back in time and enjoy an unforgettable experience in a region with one of the richest prehistoric heritages in the country, featuring cave paintings, dolmens, cists, castles, historic bridges, religious buildings, ovens and mills.
