"As always, Porter’s Barn did not disappoint. This is the second time we have stayed here and will again.Clean, private, close enough to restaurants and shopping. We bring our boat and use the dock daily.The only thing I would add is another chair to sit and look at the views out the front.Unfortunately real life and jobs cut our stay short by a couple of days, but we enjoyed it while we could."

"There's everything you will need for your stay and if not Ellen is just up the road. Great hospitality and beautiful scenery. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for seclusion. There are some mosquitoes so you may want to bring bug spray. "

"This property was beautiful, clean, very large. We were able to sleep 17 people very comfortably. The screened in porch was great for relaxing at night. And the yard was large enough for the kids and dogs to hangout and play. The host were very helpful and even took steps before our arrival to make the house more comfortable. I recommend checking out their guide to things to do locally."
