Property was OK. Pool filter (I assume?) sounded really loud in the room I was in and broke the serenity (from about 8 in the morning I think). Otherwise all good.

I loved my little terraced balcony on the ground floor. While it is a bit dated, the rooms where spotless and the amenities in the room were great. The people are so friendly and helpful, and the little town of Flinders is so cute. I had a wonderful 2 night break, so peaceful and quiet.

Loved the courtyard attached to the room. The motel is perfectly positioned for walking to the beach and shopping strip. Very enjoyable stay.

This motel is a 70s classic in its style - though has had a tough year with Covid and there is some maintenance work to be done. The 70s vibe is from the exposed brick and the wood-work and this could be highlighted. The heating system was either noisy (through-wall air-con unit) or a small fan-heater on the floor. The latter was enough (set on "low") to warm the room and was quiet...but would not be the most ecologically friendly solution. We had a very friendly welcome and a great breakfast next door.

Basic motel but what we needed was there. Unfortunate the power went off in Flinders which made things difficult. A few cobwebs in bathroom otherwise fine.
