It was just a quick trip to Melbourne and selected the Crown Metropol because of its location and ease of access to meetings and events in the area.

Great hotel in excellent location
Great location near riverwalk and also near free tram stop and hop on hop off bus. Hotel very impressive especially the pool and sky bar. Very comfy bed and pillows, lots of storage space in wardrobe and bathroom. Some of chairs in public areas were getting a little tired and the card holding charge of $100 per night is a little steep considering they take your card details anyway and other places just hold $1 but otherwise a great hotel and facilities

Highly recommended hotel in central Melbourne
Fantastic place to stay in Melbourne. Beautiful comfortable room and bathroom. Great location on South Bank, very central to the city and public transport. Amazing swimming pool and spa with outstanding city views from the 27th floor.

Really enjoyed my stay have been before good location staff very helpful especially giving directions. Asked about 28th floor was told by staff was opened but had a private function which wasn't good as it was our last night . Gym & pool good .

Beautiful hotel .
Will certainly be returing . Extremely friendly staff who go out of their way to assist us . Very family friendly . Weather was shocking but we could still explore the crown and dine out . Where other places we would of been confined to the one service

An amazing experience, close to DFO and within walking distance from the city. Fine dining restaurants very close and a bit to pricey, but we found other restaurants close by near DFO, with much more reasonable prices.

It was really good. It was not bad. You would probably like it if you went too. I know this is quite presumptuous because i have not met you, i want to meet you, don't take this personally. You are probably are nice person with strong family values and a solid sense of moral justice, but i can't meet everyone. Just sayin', if you are anything like me that yiu would probably like it too. That's it. Don't look to deeply in to this. This is just a hotel review, nothing more, nothing less.

Fantastic hotel. Renewed and vast crown complex. You can get a little lost if you are using the self park on multi storey parking.

Close to things you like...
Great if you enjoy food, shopping and the casino. Great for families, there is a pool and spa and a food court downstairs if one doesn't want to eat in restaurants all the time. Melbourne CDB is a short walk about 15minutes away, so clean and such a wonderful fragrance meet you when you entered the foyer also filled with pleasant staff.

Great Escape
My wife and I recently stayed at Crown Metropol. We stayed in a Luxe King Room. We arrived at about 2.15pm and there was a long line to the service desk. However, the line moved pretty fast and while we were waiting, the hotel manager approached us and offered us some chopa chops! I went with the cola flavour. We were greeted by Sebastian at the front Desk. He checked us in, and was very friendly. We mentioned we were celebrating my wife's Birthday, so he said he would organize a bottle of Bubbly and lollies to be sent up to our room. We made our way up to the 21st floor and got settled in. The room was very clean and well set out. Generous use of space and design. Nice shower and bathroom, beautiful view of the city and great living space. We made our way to the pool, and had a swim. The pool also boasts fantastic views of the city, very much a "panoramic" experience. We headed off and made our way to the Ballet. Upon our return to the room, we were expecting our bottle of Bubbly and lollies, however it had not arrived. This was the only negative aspect of our stay. We were disappointed, but it wasn't a big deal, it just would have been nice. We checked out the next morning at 11am, I was going to mention the lack of bubbles to the front desk, however we were asked to check out using the "express checkout" cards, so we were unable to voice it to the desk. Overall our stay was very good and would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Great stay
Hotel is linked to the other crown hotels with luxury shops and eateries. Very comfortable stay with spacious room. Beautiful view at 23rd level. Will love to stay here again. It is away from free tram zone though, a short walk will reach the tram stop.

The Facilities at this property are fantastic it is close to the city, close to the theatre and positioned perfectly for restaurants and bars The rooms are well appointed with the only downside being lighting in the bathroom , it's extremely poor for women trying to do hair and apply make up
