Hello, our reception closes at 6pm and after-hours check-in are a simple process to pick-up keys from our key safe box. We apologise that this way to check-in didn't suit to you. Regarding the apartment, we would send our cleaning team back to the apartment if you would address your complain however, we haven't received any request. Our staff members work hard to keep our guests happy but it's hard to fix an issue if we are not aware about it. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you want to discuss further.

The apartment was nice, clean and in a nice spot with a good view. Was only a couple of things we weren’t happy with eg- toilet button was broken and couldn’t flush straight after flushing first time, shower handle wasn’t attached and fell off every time we showered, and the fan didn’t work properly so bathroom steamed up straight away and staff weren’t the friendliness.

Excellent service from the Apartments Melbourne Staff. I have stayed here a few times now and I love the apartments. Always clean and well maintained. i would highly recommend.

The owner canceled our booking so they could resell it at a higher price but they didn’t actually tell us or give us a refund. We arrived to check in to no booking. Luckily the nice girl at reception found us a room we could have which had maintenance issues. Very disappointing!

Close to tram stop and priced appropriately for its condition. The property seemed run down and in need of repair. No hot water on our second night/morning. No towels for the pool. Outdoor area dirty. No plug for kitchen sink to wash up.

Good position
The apartment was quite good . Spacious with most things needed . It is in a good spot in Docklands . The tv remote didn’t work and no tv remote for bedroom tv, but if your going to stay just for tv ,stay home. There is a good pool with in the building we stayed at.. I think there are a couple of apartment blocks that use the same reception . Shopping and eateries are plentiful and Docklands is getting bigger.. It’s not 5 star but it doesn’t claim to be . Overall a good place to stay.. I would stay there again ..

The apartment was lovely except there was tape holding a window in providing a unsafe environment especially in the high winds on level 10 that we experienced. Pool was like ice and unfortunately no indoor pool was available although ad suggested there was. Air con DID NOT work which was particularly hard during a 44 degree day. The house keeper was very helpful, but the rest weren't so, and appeared annoyed when we arrived, and during phone conversations. Air con wasn't fixed and we were told owners wouldn't allow someone to come out till next morning

Sub standard room 1009P with missing, dirty or damaged blinds and insufficient towels for guests. Bathroom needs attention especially shower hose that makes floor completely wet when showering. Two pot lids but no pots for cooking. Gas stove knobs where broken and we didn’t know if gas was turned off so slept with balcony door open so we didn’t die in our sleep.

The apartments location was fantastic and check in was very smooth however the overall condition of the apartment was disappointing especially for the price we paid. Definitely did not look like the photos we saw wgen we booked. The main bedroom had a sliding door which was broken and could only open a quarter of the way, it was a squeeze just to get in. The second bedroom had no blinds on one window and broken ones on the other so all the light came through. The wifi in the apartment didn't work and we needed to wash all the glassware before we used them. Quite disappointing at 390 a night it's quite a rip off the only thing that is 4 star is the location.

Booked two apartments in the one booking and when checking in was informed that the two apartments were not together in the same building. One apartment was two blocks away from the other in a totally separate apartment building. No mention in any communication on website or in correspondence emails that booking could be split and not together. Reception at check in tried their best to accommodate after we complained but best they could do was put us in separate buildings next door to each other. Apartments themselves were lovely.

Hello Thanks for your feedback. Indeed, our apartments in Docklands are located in few different buildings so we can't assure you to get 2 units in the same one. This depends of availability. However, they are all really near each other and no more than 2 minutes walking distance. Happy to know that you enjoyed both apartments overall :)

The room wasn't ready when I arrived at 5.30pm. The carpet was being cleaned and i was not told this was to be ocurring! Although only a small area of say 2m2, it was right in the main walk area outside the bathroom. I had to wait while they finished off and then had to endure soggy carpets and a room that smelled like a wet dog. There wasn't a toilet roll holder and the bedroom window latches were broken meaning that I couldn't shut out the noise of Footscray Rd right underneath me... Check in was less than professional and they seemed annoyed that I was annoyed that the room wasn't ready! The room had a couple of pieces of cheap furniture and was not inviting or pleasant to be in.

Hello Reception is open from 9am to 6pm Monday to Sunday. Check in during office hours is simple, just need to pop-in to reception :) After hours, we have a key safe box located in the reception wall, just need to enter your code to pick up your keys. Sorry to hear that you found the process confusing. Please note we have a 24/7 reception phone number that you can contact if you have any issue to check in. Our friendly staff will be happy to assist over the phone too :)

The property was in a great location and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only gripe was the condition of the room was a little tired, hole in the wall also some marks here and there. Nothing serious though. My major gripe was about the indoor pool, there wasn’t one. We did have access to one in another hotel down the road, about 100 meters away and that was fantastic. But we only booked the hotel because of the indoor pool, had we known there wasn’t one we would have booked elsewhere. The outdoor pool was brilliant but not suitable when the outside temp was 12 degrees. Having said that I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the hotel to others especially at the price we paid and the fact that it’s in a perfect location.

Hi There Thanks for sharing your experience! We are happy to read you spent a good time. Apartments Melbourne Domain Docklands has accommodations in few different building in the area. Some have an indoor pool, some other outdoor so we can content our guests all year long. We always provide access to another swimming pool if you want it and it's never more than 2 minutes walking distance from your apartment. We're happy that you loved it :)

The doclands has never taken off in Melbourne and i can see why with these awful interior decorated apartments that appear filthy!!!! Why would you stay in the doclands when their are no restaurants or cafes and poorly designed apartments and a shower that spays water out making a horrible experience that isnt relaxing at all. And to top it off their is a $300 bond and then you get it back in 21 days!!!!! Dont bother stay else where more centrally located in the heart of the city.

Hi There Thanks for your feedback. Please note that there are cafes and restaurants on the Docklands harbour (2 minutes away from our accommodations). The bond is released by your bank, not by us. 21 days is the maximum time this can take, depending of the bank, most of them have it back within few days... Don't hesitate to contact your bank for more information

I didn’t like the fact that I was sold something different online and then when I checked in I wasn’t even in the same building as the one pictured. There was no indoor pool or spa. The window was broken In one room, unable to be shut and the heater broken too. The blanket was too light, we were freezing and unable to call anyone for more blankets as it was past 6pm. The place was old and tired and did not meet my expectations for the price we paid. I will never stay here again and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Hello, Sorry to hear that your stay wasn't as expected. Apartments Melbourne Domain had accommodations in different buildings in this area. We always accommodate our guest on the room type they booked so you stayed in an apartment that you have reserved.Some of the buildings have an indoor pool, some other an outdoor one. So we can satisfy our guests in each season. We always give an access to another swimming pool if you would like to, it is only 2 minutes away (walking distance) so you can enjoy the facilities in winter as summer. Finally, we have a 24/7 reception phone number so you can reach us anytime. We would be happy to bring you additional blankets if you would request it, and they are also extra in bedroom wardrobes.

please do not book these apartments.after arriving we had to call the office to ask for it to be cleaned as there was sick all over the bathroom.The floors were filthy. the tv was smashed and they didn't even bother to change it.the table was damaged and it was just shocking. There was Mark's all over the walls.just horror. our complaint did nothing all they did was send a guy to clean the toilet and still I asked him to clean it again as there cleaning skills are shocking.lets get this clear there is NO pool in this building you have to walk out to the other building.after emails to the manager it was clean they were not interested in helping. they take a bond off 300 and you have to wait 3 weeks to get it back.people like this disgust me.then they reply with sorry you didn't enjoy your stay.we booked out early as it's was just filthy apartment. they are out to take your money take your bond and just screw people over.

Hello Hazel, As per the email we sent you, we are sorry to hear that your stay wasn’t as expected. However, we are not sure why you said our staff isn't interested to help. Indeed, we sent back the housekeeper supervisor to your apartment after your complaint regarding the cleaning, in order to fix the issues you mentioned. Sorry about the inconvenience caused, however, we took action straight away. You did book an apartment in a building with swimming pool and actually, there is an indoor swimming pool, a gym, a spa and also a sauna in this building. Once again, not sure why you said there was none? If you had struggle to find it, you would have to ask our reception staff who would explain you better. Finally, we always tell the maximum time the bond can be released however, in most of the cases it is released after a week and we also explained you that you can have it back in 24 hours by contacting your bank and follow the steps we sent you. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you want to discuss further

Great veiws, great location . abit disappoint about a few things no tv ,no internet, had to chase up the extra bed we paid for, then it was broken so then had to get another one and it didnt get there til 10pm at night. not enough plates double bed had a king single blanket on it

I would never stay here again! my parents were put in a dirty room with holes in the walls and told they would be liable for any damage in the room the room had not even had a basic clean marks on benches not vacuumed ect we were placed in totally different building which isnt ideal when u book 2 rooms and are not even located in the same building we rang prior to arriving to confirm the deposit amount for cash so we could pre arrange the correct money only to arrive and be told a totally different amount the reception staff are rude and didnt apologise in the slightest for there mistake we then rang to find out what level the indoor pool is located...the main reason we booked this apartment to then be told sure its 100m walk down the road which isn't ideal when u have young children so basically advertising a indoor pool which isnt located anywhere near the apartment we were in. Our bed in our room was extremely uncomfortable with a cheap mattress with sagging in the middle i would never stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone and would highly recommended your office staff work on there communication with paying guests

Hi Brooke, Thanks for your feedback. Please note we sent back our cleaners in your room after we get your complaint. The housekeeper supervisor didn't notice anything wrong about vacuum etc but still re clean as per your request. Regarding the bond, the amount is $300 but as you didn't to pay it by card we do ask for $500 deposit for guests who prefer to pay cash. This is to cover the cost of damages in the apartment in case there are some. This cash amount has been given back to you straight away on your check-out. You are complaining about the fact you had 2 bookings and were in 2 different buildings. Please note, we always try our best to accommodate the guests in same buildings however, you made 2 the separated bookings under a different name so we couldn't know that you were together. When you told us this on arrival, we were fully booked so we couldn't move you around. You also complain about the fact we gave you access to a swimming pool 100m away. This is because the building where you stayed has an outdoor pool only and you wanted an indoor one. So we just accommodated your request by giving you access to another building with an indoor swimming pool, gym and spa which is actually less than 30 seconds walking distance from your apartment. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you want to discuss this matter further.

I choose to stay in the Docklands frequently. Other times I have always had an elevated floor with marina views. On this 4 night stay the apartment faced another building on the lane with nil view. Very disappointing, as this is why I choose the Docklands apartments.

Hi Joanne Thanks for your feedback. As you probably noticed while you made your booking we have different room types. The ones with the view are called "Water Views" so you need to book this room type to enjoy the Pier views.

Apartment was as described. Perfect location,view from the balcony and many windows was great. Would definitely stay here again for a short stay!
