The man who checked us in was amazing and then the rest of the staff after that were not very helpful. The manager was quite rude. We were staying in Melbourne for a national swim meet and my son has special dietary needs, I struggled to be able to cook him a couple of pieces of toast in the morning. The person on the last day of our stay refused, we felt like an inconvenience even though the place was almost empty. The rooms were awesome but the rest was a let down.

Everything was good... The day of check out they didnt allow us to add more 4hours to pay for it soo that we can check out at 2pm instead of 10am? While other hotel does allow to pay for extra 4 hours to check out.

When we checked in we were given an upgrade to satisfy the request for a quieter room but we faced a carpark which did get busy in the mornings. We noticed that the toilet roll holder was not on the wall and was left on the shelf. We reported it but were told it could hot be fixed for another week. We also reported that the door to the bathroom made a screeching notice when we tried to shut it which was a bit disturbing at night as there were two of us sharing. Again, we were told we had to wait for maintenance, however, a guy did come and check it and oiled the hinges to assist. It was more a case of the door was getting caught on the floor (uneven?) when you tried to close the door. Consequently ,we had to leave it as the maintenance guy said he'd have to remove it and shave it down a bit. This never happened. We did have to ask for replacement soap so the room servicing wasn't up to speed, but overall, value for money, it was good. The area was a bit dodgy, bit run down and dirty, also with homeless people right outside the hotel setting up camp which made it appear a bit unsafe to walk around at night.

The hotel was above a brothel, adult accessory shop, vap shop, tattoo shop and had drug affected people literally lying against the walls outside. The room had a open balcony and the door was not adequate for security. this was meant to be family friendly but is absolutely not appropriate.

Very clean and fresh. Very comfortable bed. Only thing batteries in tv remote were flat. Not really an issue. Just letting you know staff probably needs to check them every now and then.

Rooms have no sound proofing so difficult to sleep on Friday and Saturday nights. Building has no lift so have to carry suitcase up steep stairs.

The property was in a great location, close to convenience stores, restaurants and bars and there is a tram stop directly in front. There is secured parking on site for $18 overnight however this wasn’t explained properly to us on check in when asked (was initially told there was 2 hour parking at the front and free overnight or 3 hour parking behind the property and free overnight). It’s worth paying the extra $18 for secured parking, especially in that area.

Homeless people gather around at night
Hotel was in a good spot and good condition, but 5-10 homeless people gather around the front door every night fighting and screaming all night making it hard to sleep.

I particularly wanted a quiet room and was given one. My room was so tastefully renovated/decorated. Location was great with close proximity to the beach, tram stops and cafes. Staff were very friendly and helpful with assisting me to find places of interest etc. I'll be stopping there again when next in Melbourne.

Fantastic location.Close to beach and restaurants. Tram stop outside the hotel. Check in staff extremely friendly and helpful. It would be nice to have a mirror in the bedroom. The apartment was clean and comfortable.

Recently renovated so the rooms are clean and comfortable.Fantastic location. There is a tram stop directly out the front of the hotel. Close to everything you would want in the area. Bottom line... I would definitely stay there again

First of all, it's hard to find the place since the name is different which causes quite a confusion for me. Secondly my confirmation says free breakfast, but the hotel says otherwise. Even after I showed them the confirmation they still ask me to send the email to them. The location of the hotel is good though.

Updated apartments that were clean. Don’t book here if you intend on having a good sleep as the noise from the main road was awful. I also felt uncomfortable walking around the area as a single woman due to some of the characters in the area. Parking cost $15 a day- which is high considering what little else you get at the hotel.The staff were not overly helpful either. If the room wasn’t so comfy and warm , i would give a lower rating.

Staff not to helpful just lack customer service ,and they didn’t want to assist my partner when she got there before me and I had to change the name on the booking and when I got in they just didn’t believed that the booking was made by me.Even after I gave them the room number just a lack of trust .and I was tired and needed to get in and sleep

When I arrived in Australia I had reservations at another hotel. Because of my late arrival my room was sold. I almost didn’t make the trip but since I did I wanted to have a nice hotel accommodation While visiting Melbourne. I found Easystay accommodations suitable throughout the duration of my trip. the staff were friendly and accommodating. One in particular by the name of Steve was exceptionally outstanding service and attitude. I would recommend him for promotion because of his service
