TipSea Turtle Retreat, island cottage with pool in the heart of Melbourne Beach!

The TipSea Turtle Retreat is a completely remodeled 1930's pool home with elements of eclectic character. Location Location Location!! we are licensed in the town of Melbourne Beach, #CVR25–0012.
Park your car once you arrive to TTR and you won't need it until you have to leave the island. Max 4 cars and 10 guests per town rules. We have a rear gate access to plaza shops, restaurants and grocery store steps away. Walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, library, park, tennis courts, Indian River Lagoon, amazing sunsets, fishing pier, bait shop, surf shop, historic landmarks and much more all with in 3 blocks. Locals refer to this area as the "Golden Triangle" because it is the only neighborhood you do not have to cross A1A to get to the beach:) You are about 300ft to the beach, turtles and surf! The home was designed for vacationers in mind with 4 of the bedrooms having their own brand new on-suite bathrooms. We also have our own pool with plenty of outdoor lounge space to enjoy the beachside atmosphere. Stroll to the beach with your morning coffee to watch the spectacular Atlantic Ocean sunrises and waves crashing or in the evening stroll to the river to watch the beautiful sunsets! The variety of walkable restaurants are incredible, from casual ocean front dining at Sands on the Beach and 302’s to more sophisticated, Dijon's Steak and Lobster House with a fabulous piano bar. We are excited to share this home with you to enjoy the peaceful small beach town atmosphere at your doorstep! No pets allowed for this property. We do have an option to heat the spa tub attached to the pool, $35 per day

Cousins week

This older remodeled vacation rental was perfect for our party of five. The location can’t be beat. We loved being able to walk to restaurants and stores yet such a close walk to the beach. The outside area was my favorite. If you were looking to stay in this Melbourne Beach, this rental is the best!

Best Space Coast Location

We had a wonderful family vacation and got to see a launch right from the beach. We are from Cape Cod so enjoyed the ocean and the pool even though that may be too cold for some in December. The Melbourne Beach Market right within walking distance was a plus as we never really had to drive anywhere. We did visit the zoo and space center as well as andretti thrill park. All a hit with the grandkids. Hosts were great and we will definitely stay here if we decide to return to the area.

Perfect place for a winter getaway….great spaces throughout, close to the beach, shops and restaurants, and drivable for excursions too! We particularly liked having our own pool, the kids loved the attic space and we loved the outdoor covered grill/picnic area!

Wonderful family time!

Wonderful bonding time with kids and grandkids! The pool was the star of the vacation. Cape Canaveral was also a hit! Dean was very responsive to our questions.

Perfect house for 7 adults and 2 young children. Spacious enough for everyone to have their own room and bathroom. Golf cart rental was a definite plus four a group our size. Easily walkable to beach even without cart. Would stay again. Great communication with host. Very amicable to a late check out. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here

Spring Training Getaway Base

The property was a great home base to stay at for our families as we came down to enjoy spring break and watch our boys play baseball. Had everything we could need. Clean, lots of spaces to congregate or get away for some privacy both in and outdoors. Stores and restaurants within steps out the back door and the beach within a block out the front. It was really good, plenty of room and everything furnished you could possibly need. Walk down street to beach is short about 100 yds down very low traffic road. Beach area was practically deserted and this was week before the 4th. Already talking about going back next year.

Perfect beach house

The house is very spacious, nicely decorated, big kitchen and well equipped. Beds are very comfortable, rooms are spacious. Perfect pool size. There is a nice kitchen/bar on the back yard. The walk to the beach is really short and easy to access

Family get away

The Tipsea Turtle Retreat was awesome! It had everything you needed for a beach trip vacation right down to chairs and umbrellas. The pool made it nice to relax in after the beach. The house was fully stocked with everything you could imagine needing. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was just steps away from the beach and with the golf cart it made it easy to get around. The beachside market was filled with unique food and items. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Quiet oasis near the beach

We are originally from the area and needed additional space from the family home to stay with friends who were all coming in for an event. The house was perfect with lots of living space, clean and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, thoughtful amenities and only a five minute walk to the beach. For the price of two hotel rooms a night, we got five plus a great living space to cook, relax, visit and be together.

Great Amenities and Location

We loved our stay. The house is quick walk to the beach and nearby stores/restaurants. It had many more amenities than we even expected, from kitchen appliances to beach towels/gear/cooler. It's an old house but has been recently remodeled so it has a modern feel, and it easily accommodated our crew. The hosts were quick to reply to any questions or concerns. Would definitely stay here again.

we enjoyed our time in your house, everything you can think of was there, close to beach, shopping, all within walking distance. Very spacious as we had 11 60-year-olds, and we all had our own space. the beach is so close we got up at 3am to watch the space x launch from the beach. the outdoor kitchen area was a bonus for us. Definitely will consider your place again. Thank you!

Amazing experience

This is absolutely all we wanted and more. It had everything we needed on hand, very short stroll to beach access, wonderful hangout areas all around the property and pool area, gated pool and child locks on gates and house doors, and so much more. Easy and quick communication with property owners. Local shops close by. All amenities needed to stay all week were provided (spices, cookware, grill, beach towels, totes, coolers, chairs, wagon, umbrella, etc.
