It was conveniently located across the road from the Market which offered an extensive array of food and dining options. A bit of a walk to the river frontage. If stairs are a problem for you, please be aware that there is a steep flight of stairs from the entrance of the building to the 1st floor. The staff were friendly and helpful. A very nice stay."

Clients need to know that checkin is at the nearby Hotel do Norte, and that luggage needs to be carried up one flight to the lift after entering the apartment building. We were grateful for quick response to service requests and having washer, cooktop, microwave and refrigerator."

"This was the best place we've stayed at on our trip! The apartment is so spacious (it has 2 bathrooms!) and beautifully decorated. It's well equipped with modern facilities, yet still reserves the old charms. The building also has a lovely backyard with a pool. The location is perfect - close to most attractions and a few min walk to Capela das Almas de Santa Catarina and Bolhão market. Highly recommend!"

"Good hotel with personal shuttle service to and from the airport. Friendly professional staff. Room was very clean and comfortable with a king size bed, very quiet. Location is close enough that one can walk to downtown restaurants, shops and attractions. Shuttle is also available to downtown areas although we decided to walk everywhere as part of our exercise. Porto is hilly so be prepared with comfortable shoes to walk on cobble stone alleyways and streets! We didn’t try the food at the hotel and went to local restaurants instead although the menu at the hotel seemed quite good with some traditional Portuguese dishes."
