"I wanted a place in the mountains and Schwand Gusthaus delivered. Woke up to a scene out of a movie. Tall mountains, green pastures and tinkling bells on cows. Myelie and Patrick are great hosts. We had dinner in their restaurant one night. Excellent food! I am planning to stay here again this winter. It is a shared bathroom situation so if that is an issue look elsewhere. Beds were very comfortable. And Engelberg is a lovely little town. "

"Great small property with all the amenities that one would need, The ski lift is within walking distance and there is a bus service that will drop you off at the lift. The property itself was simple with no bells and whistles.
