Such a nice comfy apartment for this family of four! The view from the apartment was amazing! Lucerne was a great launching point for all of our adventures.! Jobst and Sabrina were very responsive!

World Hockey Championships U18 for Team Canada

We stayed at the property for the hockey tournament in Zug. The property was beyond what like the pictures showed and had everything we needed and wanted. Very clean- beautiful views and a perfect spot! Would highly recommend this property to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay in Meggen, great location for lots of family friendly hikes and access to lake swimming. The house was good the owners were very helpful letting us check in abit early which was very kind. One thing to note the 3rd bedroom was in the basement which we didn't realise, and coming from Australia where basements aren't common, none of us felt comfortable sleeping down there, but there was an extra bed on the landing upstairs which was very comfy so we all had our own space as planned which was good. Very sad to leave after a lovely stay!

Home Away From Home

Fabulous location overlooking Lake Lucerne & the mountains. Very close to the city of Lucerne & within east reach of shops in Meggen. Access to excellent walks minutes from the property. Very clean & well-equipped kitchen & Laundry facilities with three great sized bedrooms & a fourth double bed available as well. Two lovely family bathrooms. Extremely comfortable. Couldn’t find any faults. We had a wonderful stay & hosts were very accommodating.

This is a Hidden Gem

I don't think listing does justice to how perfect the location is of this property. Its 15 minutes from downtown Lucerne, 4 to 10 minites from serveral Coop stores and 12 minutes from other fast food places, 5 minutes from a nice sit down restaurant and I could go on. Jobst and Sabrina are wonderful people and were amazing in every step of the way. They both checked up on us and made sure we had a great stay. They provided a little booklet with all the instructions and places to go and eat but very relatable, short and helpful. The views from the property are incredible. Right outside of livingroom you can see Mount Rigi. The backyard is also pretty. There is a small park right across the street and it was delight for my children. The bus stop is right there maybe 1 minute walk from front door. We had rented a car and just parked outside on the street and it was not a hassle at all. This is a truly hidden gem and definitely under marketed.

Beautiful View!

Absolutely wonderful home. 2 bathroom rentals can be hard to find. This one is perfect for friends traveling together. The house is located right next to a bus stop with frequent & convenient service to the city. Washer/Dryer in the basement are nice for an extended stay. The host lives next door making communication easy. My only negative is that stairs to the downstairs bathroom will deliver a reminder should you forget to duck. Tall people beware. Overall a wonderful stay. I'd pick this place again.

Gemütlich und waldnah

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen. Das Haus, mit herrlichem Ausblick in die Sennen, eignet sich genau perfekt für Naturfreund:innen, denn man kann stundenlang im ruhigen Wald spazieren. Das Haus ist etwas älter, aber man hat alles, was man braucht, und die nächste Bushaltestelle ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Gastgeber antwortet schnell auf Mails.

Tolles Ferienhaus in traumhafter Umgebung

Wir verbrachten zu fünft ein wunderschönes, verlängertes Wochenende in diesem idealen Feriendomizil. Die Terrasse bietet eine einmalige Kulisse, das Haus ist super sauber und sehr durchdacht eingerichtet. In der Küche fehlt es an nichts, es gibt auch ein Starterset an Lebensmitteln ( z. B. Tee, Kaffee, Zucker, Essig, Öl...) Das Haus ist sehr gut geeignet als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu Highlights am See und in die Umgebung, nicht zu vergessen sind diverse idyllische Badeplätze. Da wir fünf Räder dabei hatten, haben Sabrina und Jobst uns spontan eine Garage zur Verfügung gestellt. Danke nochmal dafür. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Familienfreundliche Unterkunft in schöner Umgebung

Die Gastgeber waren toll und unkompliziert und in der Unterkunft war alles vorhanden, was man sich wünschen kann. Tolle Küche und Bäder und eine schöne Terasse mit Blick auf den See und Spielplatz. Die Wanderwege starten vor der Haustür in beiden Richtungen und gerade mit Hunden war es ein Traum die schöne Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir können dieses Objekt von Herzen empfehlen und hatten eine tolle Zeit !
