"This beautiful villa is a hidden gem. The little village is so gorgeous. The drive up through the olive orchard is stunning. We never tired of the view. The restaurant that it attached to the villa is literally at the front door. The food is amazing. Though breakfast is not available, it's a short drive to a nearby town that has several other dining options. The pool is small but private. We would definitely stay here again. "

Royal Sun Hotel

The hotel is located quite a bit out Chania town but is in a beautiful and quite location with stunning views. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus between the town (in the car park next to the market place) and the hotel. I suggest you contact the hotel before your arrival to organise a transfer with the free bus! Don’t waste time or money on taxis or local busses! The day trips organised through the hotel are also great! Definitely head to Elafonisi beach!

Everything was incredible from the moment we arrived. Early check in was available, the team arranged parking for our car. Had dinner both nights at the restaurant and can’t fault the food, my chef partner loved everything on the menu. Staff were so attentive and lovely. Good location if you’re looking for somewhere slightly out of town, a little quieter. Only a 20ish minute walk into old town.

Good quality hotel in a convenient location. Easy flat walk to the old town and main harbour area. Quiter end of the harbour but still plenty of atmosphere and nice views. Hotel stag were friendly and helpful. Excellent quality breakfast in a picturesque setting. Free parking onsite. Chania (old town in particular) is a charming and interesting harbour town with plenty of atmosphere and excellent dining options. The area is clean, well kept and feels safe.
