"We had an awesome experience at Walking Deer. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Everything you could possibly need was provided for you inside the cabin. The cabin was spotless and cozy. The grounds were well kept and landscaped beautifully. "This was a fantastic little (newer) house with a great view. Cleaner than any hotel will be. Well stocked with essentials. We only stayed 2 nights but you could (and should) spend a week or more here. Very nice owner lives next door but you have a fence and your own parking/ yard area making it very private. Thank you!"

"Overall the place was very clean and well stocked.The rooms and beds were all very comfortable. Big open living room with wood stove was nice and firewood was well stocked as well. Large 75" tv was nice for viewing the pics we took. The sofa was comfortable but although the two western style chairs looked nice they were not and are the only negative to this property IMO. We were a party of four which I think was perfect especially with 1.5 baths. There is room for more with a detached game room...
