"I was tempted to leave a terrible review to put everyone else off but that seemed perhaps a little unfair. This was the most magical, wonderful place to spend time with our children who were utterly entranced with the ponds and loved every moment in the pools. By day #2, one of our 7 year olds was asking if there are schools nearby and could we just live here? Beautiful gardens, fabulous wildlife (learning the French for hedgehog!), late sunsets and a lovely host. Thank you. "

The breakfast which was included was very good with home made preserves etc. Parking on the street wasn't a problem at all. Would recommend staying in this beautiful historic small chateau. "This appears to be a re-badged Campanile hotel which has just had Campanile signs changed to Design Inn. As such it provides good basic, no frills accommodation. The one difference with Campanile is that this hotel does not provide dinner but is very close to a Buffalo Grill which is conveniently located for dinner. There were various places where old Campanile signs had been removed but not well repaired so it gives the impression of not being well cared for. The staff were very helpful and found a secure place to store my bicycle. The breakfast was fine without being exceptional."
