"If you’ve never been to Croatia before, you should go and you should definitely consider Cave Romana. Set in a secluded location but only 20 minute drive from Pula airport and 10 minutes in to Pula. The accommodation is quirky, full of character and flexible for large groups. "Everything you could wish for. Great location, many recommended places a reasonable distance away. Great restaurant within walking distance. Spacious property, fully equipped kitchen, large bedrooms with large beds and excellent en suites. Many communal areas, inside and out. Lovely pool! Owner couldn’t be more helpful! Loved it, great for a large group, good price, will come again!"

"We’ve stayed in loads of places around croatia, and this by far is the best. Hosts are fantastic, incredibly helpful. The property is really easy to stay in, very comfortable, great outdoor area with spectacular pool. Couple of minutes walk from all amenities, including restaurants and beach. "Almost a perfect stay. The house is a a bit old, but all works well. One downside was the fact that first floor rooms are much nicer then groundfloor (both rooms are en suite while downstairs there is just one bathroom for two rooms and much less light), so with two families you need to make some choices. Pool is big enough and nice. Mosquitos are a nightmare, but well, what can you do :-)"

The new pools are fabulous, especially the relax infinity pool with the fantastic comfortable cushioned 4 poster sun beds, lovely, more comfortable than the apartment beds. Nice modern reception with good staff. The negatives for comfort was the mattresses seemed old, lumpy and very uncomfortable, i hardly slept the first night and changed my mattress for the spare one in our room but wasn't much better.
