"Hotel is excellent, but practically there is no good beach around. Many guests spend most of the time in the swimming pool (! - do you need to go so far for that?), not on the beach because water is too shallow up to half a mile from the cost and it is up to your knees - though maybe kids would like that. That was a disaapointment. Boat can take you to the Ceja island - but practically there is no shade, rocky shore - and boat goes back either at 2 pm or 5 pm, we were grilled by the sun...

"We stayed as a family in the middle of August. We had a nice one-bedroom apartment on the first floor with everything we needed. A/C was working fine and we had access to the pool in the nearby hotel, which was nice since the beach was superbusy. Overall a good place, and we had a good time, though it was lacking some charm. "Good service, facilities and cleanliness all round. The new pools are fabulous, especially the relax infinity pool with the fantastic comfortable cushioned 4 poster sun beds, lovely, more comfortable than the apartment beds. Nice modern reception with good staff. The negatives for comfort was the mattresses seemed old, lumpy and very uncomfortable, i hardly slept the first night and changed my mattress for the spare one in our room but wasn't much better.
