"Do not spend the money for this horribly outdated hotel! You are much better off staying at an "apartment" that one of the locals can provide. I am not an overly picky hotel guest, and I come from a Croatian background, so I normally cut hotels some slack in Croatia, knowing that they are not quite what I would expect in North America, but I couldn't wait to leave this horrible relic from the old communist days of tourism. "If I could give more than 5 stars for the service here, I would. The staff gave us a ton of history about Croatia and it was fascinating talking with them. And very helpfully booked dinner for us. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing--everything was very, very fresh. I would definitely recommend!"
