"We enjoyed our 2 night stay, the hotel is about 18 minutes drive from Split. Outside the hotel there is a supermarket, bakery, atm and bus stop which is convenient. The site is next to Salona Roman Ruins which you pay to enter and is a great historical walk to spend an hour or two. Also there is a shopping mall, we took an Uber to The Mall of Split about 5 euros one way, good for all shopping and has a food court as well as restaurants as we found the hotel restaurant pleasant but a little...

"We had a great stay at the hotel! The staff were great and the pool, garden,

and restaurant are really nice. Our room was great too! The only thing that we didn’t like is that the hotel is right next to the church and the bells ring very loudly (sometimes at 4am and 6am) and so we were woken by this on the Sunday and the Tuesday. "

"Amazing Makarska beachside hotel with lovely refreshing pool and seconds away from long pebble beach along which there were loads of restaurants and bars. Had good size beautifully positioned seaview balcony with agave-style plants overlooking the pool and the sea. We booked half board option and had great buffet food for breakfast and evening. "They upgraded our room so we had a mini suite and it was nice. Beachfront is difficult to enter the water. Go to the beach to the left as you face the water. Pool is very small for a larger resort. Buffet had a lot of choices but the a lot of the same food for all three meals (many breakfast items that we would consider lunch or dinner). Most buffet hot items were cold by the time you served yourself, even if you were there at the start. We enjoyed the wine on tap! Biggest issue for us is...

"We were on the 5th floor with a sea view and it was beyond what we expected! The balcony and view were amazing, the apartment was spacious and modern, all windows had automatic shutters to block out light making it easy to sleep. The balcony had a rack to dry your bathing suits and towels which was great. The swimming pool was perfect for the kids and the beach was right in front of the hotel (the water is stunning, warm and clean!!). The staff was amazing and so kind for check in and check out....
