The condo was recently and beautifully remodeled from top to bottom: a waterfall shower, a brand new kitchen, and all-new furnishings throughout. Every corner feels fresh, clean, and cared for.

The space:

The kitchen is small but fully equipped with everything you need for daily life — a coffee machine, blender, stovetop, and all the basics for cooking a real meal or just making breakfast before heading out. The living area has a comfy couch and a breakfast bar, and a washing machine is available for longer stays. A tower fan keeps things comfortable year-round, and Medellín's spring-like climate means you rarely need more than that.

The bedroom is where Mali's remodel really stands out: a full-size bed, a proper desk and office chair, a 43" TV, an Xbox, a ceiling fan, and a fully equipped closet with iron, hangers, and everything else you'd want for a longer stay. Every piece of furniture in the space is brand new.

Why Laureles over El Poblado?

If you're weighing neighborhoods, Laureles has a few real advantages worth knowing about:

It's flat, so getting around on foot is easy and genuinely pleasant — the whole neighborhood sits in the valley basin. It's also less congested than El Poblado (whose name literally means "the populated" in Spanish), which means less traffic, less noise, and a more relaxed pace throughout the day. Laureles feels more local too: El Poblado is Medellín's tourist hub, while Laureles keeps you grounded in the real Colombian atmosphere, all while still offering plenty of great bars and restaurants of its own. It's centrally located within the valley, giving you easy access to the rest of the city, including the metro. And it's safe — well cared for with a strong police presence, cameras, and private security, including a major station right in the neighborhood.
