Hotel is located close to Haram not suitable for people with walking issue or with wheelchair, as the hotel is on steep hill. Hotel provides buggy but at prayer time it is very difficult. The hotel itself is very nice and clean

It’s on steep , it’s hard to walk for old people. There is a short cut stairs as well. But again it’s hard for knee pain. Location very near. But steep. No golf cars.

Walkable distance to haram ( you need to do down a steep stairs which is fine for young people, elderly can use a golf car ) There's noise from air conditioner chillers opposite to the hotel I think I will repeat my reservation as the price is relatively good compared to the distance you need to walk to the Haram

ELaf Ejyad Tecrübelerim

Aslında 3. kez bu otelde kalıyorum. Diğerleri 2007 ve 2008 olması lazım. Eski yıllarda daha konforlu ve temiz bir otel vardı. Şimdi sanki kendi haline bırakılmış, bakımsız yetim gibi. Mesela yerdeki halılar çok pisti eski olabilir ama güzel bir temizlik yapılabilir. Klima harici herşey çok eski, eski olması problem değil ama bakımsız ve özensiz. İkinci kötü nokta gürültü. Eğer karşıdaki santral binasına bakan ve alt katlardaysanız hem santral gürültüsü hem de su tankerlerinin gürültüsü sizi uyutmayabilir. O da yine pencereler güzel yalıtımlı hale getirilse bayağı iyi olur. Ama otelin konumu fiyat performans açısından çok iyi. 5 dakika içinde Hareme ulaşıyorsunuz. Personel genelde iyi. Kibar ve yardımcı olmaya çalışıyorlar. Fakat kritik konularda çözüm sunamıyorlar. Mesela Ben 2 yataklı odadan 3 yataklı odaya geçtim ve fark ödedim. Sonra tekrar 2 odalı bir odaya geçtim. Ödediğim farkın bir kısmını almam gerekiyordu ama bilgisayar sistemi buna müsaade etmiyor dediler. Ve bu ücret iade edilmedi. Bu çok doğru bir yaklaşım değil.

The stated linear distance from this hotel to the Haram is somewhat misleading, as the hotel is situated on a mountain, with at least 200 meters involving a steep incline. However, the hotel offers an excellent golf cart service that operates 24/7, transporting guests to the Ajyad and Azizia cross streets, from where it’s a 5-minute walk to the Haram. The rooms are spacious, though the hotel and its amenities are quite old and could benefit from renovations. The staff are friendly, and overall, it’s a good option considering the price and location.

Proche de la Mecque mais chambres insalubres.

Nous avons fait le choix de Elaf Ajyad car c etait le dernier hotel disponible à proximité de la Mecque. C est bien aon seul avantage. Les ascenseurs ne fonctionnent pas correctement (surement trop vieux), l hotel est vetuste et les chambres (salle de bain, peinture, moquette, confort du lit) datent surement des annees 1980. Depuis aucune maintenance, les climatiseurs dans le couloir sont éventrés, fils apparents. L 3nregistrement effectué par un local qui n a de toute evidence aucune formation d accueil. Ils nous a demandé de payer alora qu on avait déjà été facturé au moment de la réservation. Aucune poubelle dans l hotel. Décevant, même s il ne s agissait pas d un palace (2 étoiles)

Water leaking in the bathroom door cards didn’t work most of the time pillows uncomfortable beds too small wifi was so poor asked for water bottles and were not available most of the times very run down place stand up shower so small it’s unbelievable I would never recommend this place to anyone

Un excellent rapport qualité/prix !

Loin d’être un hôtel haut de gamme, mais pour autant nous a permis de vivre un voyage de qualité et a pu par son emplacement nous faciliter grandement dans notre quotidien. Il est très bien situé : commerces, mosquée sacrée, l’horloge : en 5 à 10 minutes vous avez toute commodité. Nous n’avions pas choisi d’options particulières et nous avions eu une chambre avec une vue sur le Masjid Al Haram (partiellement) mais aussi sur la Clock Tower. (Voir photos) La chambre n’était pas ensoleillée à l’abri de l’immeuble en face et nous avons pu la garder au frais sans jamais avoir besoin d’allumer la clim. Un point non négligeable quand beaucoup de pèlerins tombent malades avec les variations de température. Le personnel est agréable. L’hôtel peut par endroit paraître vétuste mais tout reste propre.

This was a very bad experience for us. We had to leave early and didn’t complete our stay. The first room we were given was extremely dirty and smelly, with ongoing construction work on the same floor. After complaining to the staff, they changed our room, which was slightly better. The carpets in the rooms are filthy—you can’t even pray on them—and the bathroom was broken. On top of that, the internet service was terrible. While the staff tried to help, there wasn’t much they could do, as the overall hotel amenities are dreadful. The hotel is located on a steep incline, making it difficult to go to Al-Haram and back. The shuttle service was a joke and not reliable. I would not recommend staying here at all.
