Guest Access:

🔑 Access Summary

Guests access the cabin via a private driveway just off Warren Wagon Road. Parking is available for up to three vehicles directly in front of the home. The main entrance leads into the open living, kitchen, and dining area, with the primary bedroom and bathroom also on this level. The covered hot tub is conveniently located just outside the main level, allowing easy use year-round—even in winter without walking through snow. Please note: trailers are not permitted, and AWD/4WD is strongly recommended in winter months due to variable road conditions.

The Neighborhood:

This cozy cabin sits in a quiet wooded pocket just a block off Warren Wagon Road, offering a secluded feel while still being close to some of McCall’s best outdoor amenities. Within minutes, you can reach Payette Lake, North Beach, downtown shops and restaurants, and countless hiking and recreation opportunities. The wooded surroundings provide abundant shade in summer and a tranquil mountain atmosphere year-round. It’s the perfect base for families, couples, or groups looking to enjoy McCall’s lakes, trails, skiing, and scenic backroads.

Getting Around:

A vehicle is required for this location. While only a short drive from downtown McCall, the road conditions in winter can be snowy and steep, so AWD/4WD is highly recommended. Parking for up to three vehicles is available at the cabin, but trailers cannot be accommodated. Most destinations—including Payette Lake, downtown McCall, Brundage Mountain, and nearby trailheads—are an easy drive away. Summer access is simple, and winter travelers should come prepared for typical McCall snow conditions.

Nice Little Cabin Retreat

5/5 recommend this place. It has a nice little old cabin feel, while still being modern. The hot tub was by far the best part. The trees give you some privacy. The drive to town is not that long and the walk to the lake is very short with a beautiful view when you get there. This is a lovely place.

Disliked: Communication
On the positive side the immediate area is great with forest, wildlife, beaches and hiking trails. The trouble started after we had moved our belongings in and the lock battery died locking us out. We had to relocate a few miles away for the night because the manager had no key to open the door and a locksmith was unavailable. We had to go shop for some items to get us by for the night and didn't have access to the cabin until later the next morning. Communication was spotty and we had to sacrifice some of our time for planned activities. The electrical system in the cabin is concerning. The stairway is challenging. On balance, the family memories we were able to create were fantastic and outweighed the inconveniences.
