Strange interaction Post-stay

Bruno was a great host during the stay and the manager was easily accessible. Good stay. On checkout, I personally walked around the property with the cleaning lady, who agreed with me everything was great -I saw nothing out of order or any problems. She also relayed this to the property manager on checkout when we cleared the account. However, Bruno contacted me a week later to say the cleaning lady found the place in terrible shape (not knowing that I’d walked through with her?) and she has to spend two extra days cleaning, and cutting the extra charge she cost him. That wasn’t in line with what we saw or what she said at any point. Bruno’s people were great to us while we were there, so I didn’t report him to vrbo and assumed this fishing for extra payments was perhaps a normal part of renting in Senegal? In any case, the property is great, location is great, and the property manager is very helpful!

The pictures online don’t do this place justice! It’s absolutely gorgeous! We had such a great time. Very relaxing, property was clean, beach was terrific and it’s in a gated community so safety wasn’t a problem. I look forward to going back one day! Everyone had a great time!

Un vrai bonheur

Que dire de plus sur une résidence très bien entretenue, des gardiens, jardiniers, restaurateurs et surtout Joëlle, notre perle dans la maison, tous aux petits soins ? Une belle plage, une maison décorée avec goût, équipée et très accueillante, le calme du lieu, et la praticité de toutes les commodités à quelques minutes ? Nous reviendrons avec immense bonheur.

WiFi muss bezahlt werden und funktioniert trotzdem nicht. Nicht einmal der Fernseher oder Toilettenpapier ist kostenlos. Die Extrakosten sind gut versteckt auf der website und auf den ersten Blick nicht sichtbar.

We stayed 10 days in this fantastic villa. The house is very spacious and the garden is just wonderful. Our fatou cooked for us several days, which was really nice. We also tried the restaurant on the premises which was also very good. As far as the location the house is close to the pool and a few hundred meters from the beach. WiFi was there, but close to the pool only, with the expectation that you would be using drinks there. Although we did not need the TV, it unfortunately did not have a working subscription. All in all great value for money.

Nous avons passé une semaine en octobre 2015 à 7 (2 adultes et 5 enfants) dans cette villa. Nous avions déjà tellement aimé nos précédentes vacances en octobre 2013 que nous avons décidé de tout reproduire à l'identique. Pourquoi changer quand on est super content ? La maison est très fonctionnelle et bien décorée, le jardin est joli, la résidence agréable et fleurie. La maison est très proche de la grande piscine de la résidence et à 2 minutes de la plage à travers la résidence. Joëlle est très gentille et fait très bien la cuisine (poissons, salade de fruits, gâteaux pour le goûter des enfants). Le taximan est fiable et très serviable. Tout est parfait !

Une adresse à recommander

La maison est tout à fait conforme à la description et aux photos de l'annonce: spacieuse, bien équipée, propre, très bien entretenue avec un jardin très agréable. On se sent très rapidement chez soi; la terrasse au 1er étage est vraiment idéale pour les soirées. Le cadre général de la résidence est d'une qualité identique. Le personnel de la maison et de la résidence est disponible, professionnel et très serviable: merci à tous et mention spéciale à Joëlle et Thérèse pour leur gentillesse et leurs petits plats. Une adresse que je recommande à ceux qui recherchent un havre de paix.

Nous sommes tout à fait d'accord avec les précédentes appréciations. La description du propriétaire est conforme à l'annonce, le propriétaire est très attentif. La maison est parfaite, bien équipée et bien aménagée, belle et agréable. La femme de ménage et le personnel de la résidence font tout pour rendre votre séjour agréable. Encore merci à Joëlle pour sa gentillesse et sa grande disponibilité avec qui nous espérons rester en contact. Le jardin de la maison est très agréable, j'y ai passé beaucoup de temps, à écouter les oiseaux très tôt le matin, à observer un caméléon, des écureuils, un varan, et puis des chats que j'ai adoptés !!! C'est un vrai refuge pour animaux. Tous les services sont à proximité. La plage est propre et en effet Diallo est très accueillant et vous mets bien à l'aise. Le restaurant "Obama Beach" qui jouxte la plage de la Résidence des Jardin Popenguine, vous propose des plats vraiment abordables et vraiment bons (cuisines sénégalaises ou européennes). A proximité, beaucoup de choses à faire, entre autres l'île aux coquillages à Joal Fadhiut, ou bien un repas le dimanche à la réserve de Bandia. Nous avons vraiment apprécié.

Les informations sont conformes au descriptif. Le propriétaire donne de bons renseignements conformes à vos attentes. La villa est très agréable, calme, à 2 pas de la piscine, moins de 5 minutes de la mer, jardin très bien entretenu ... Le taxi-guide (A) est formidable, cet homme est remarquable vous pouvez lui faire confiance pour toutes vos sorties (courses, excursions etc ...) ! le sourire et la gentillesse de (J)sont à la hauteur des ses petits plats ... elle nous manque beaucoup ... un conseil : faite comme nous, une cure de poisson ! elle le cuisine divinement bien ... ainsi que autres entrées-plats-desserts ! à la piscine l'accueil est super : (J&Y) vous accueillent également avec une gentillesse pour de très bonnes pizzas, mais aussi de bons petits plats ... dites bonjour pour nous au Général à la plage ! il s'occupe de votre transat et ne demande jamais rien, juste un sourire ... sur la plage, demander "Mamy" pour vos petits cadeaux souvenirs ..., les sénégalais sont vraiment très accueillants et gentils ... je recommanderai cette adresse à tous ! un bémol : la literie ...
